20 year struggle is over.
I have struggled with low iron for over 20 years. I have used almost every supplement and prescription available. The only thing that ever seemed to work for me was chromagen, but more and more pharmacies were not carrying it and the cost was getting to high. I decided to try these about 2 years ago and I have been using them since. I initially took one daily with a 1000mg Lipo Vitamin C. By my next labs I was almost up to normal levels. By my second labs I was slightly high. I adjusted to two times weekly with 1000mg Lipo Vitamin C and always have perfect iron. Another benefit for me is that I have had no side effects. Other supplements would always cause some type or digestive issue; I’ve had zero negative effects from these.

Easy on Stomach!
Found this very helpful in getting my iron numbers up without stomach upset! Due to surgery, I have to take extra.

It works with no stomach discomfort! Recommend!
Actually increases iron! I took a blood test before and after starting this medicine and it brought me from a low hematocrit/ferritin up into the normal range. It’s the only oral iron that has done this for me. Normally I need infusions.

Finally raised my iron levels, which no other supplement has done
I have chronic microcytic anemia (tiny, tiny red blood cells) and I've tried a wide variety of non-heme iron supplements over the years in different formulations, including liquid supplements. My body just could not turn normal iron pills into blood cells, even taking (on a doctor's recommendation) 3x the daily dose recommendation. I just end up feeding iron to my gut microbes and giving myself a bad GI situation. Two of these a day (one in the morning, one at night) for three weeks finally brought me back up into a healthy range for the first time in years (after which I cut back to one per day). No GI issues. Heme iron is just much, much more bioavailable. Do consult with a doctor though and have your iron levels checked regularly, as too much can be even worse for you than too little - Iron isn't like Vitamin C or something else that you can just pee out if you take too much. It messes with your liver instead.

Contains folic acid, and developed a skin rash?
I can only have methylated folate, thought I was buying iron and somehow ended up double dosing myself with the wrong kind of folic acid. I developed a weird skin rash the week I started taking this and whenever I get a new health issue I look at what changed in my diet/lifestyle and that was the only thing I’ve added to my routine. I was disappointed when I noticed on the label that it also has folic acid. I’ve heard you can develop skin rashes from iron so I don’t know if it’s the supplements fault or if I shouldn’t take iron, but I have never had skin rashes before or hives, so this was new thing for me.

from the view of it shows as if each tablet have 9mg but after ordering i figured it out that tablet have only 4.5 mg iron. also, capsules are too big for this much small dosage of iron but for long term I think small dosage is way better option as large iron dosage may cause problems. also, there seems to be too much folic acid is stuffed in it. for the people who don't know b vitamins have a balance in body , so, if you take too much of one of vitamins it de stabiles other b vitamins. can't take more capusults for extra iron as capsults are too big also unnecessary folic acid may cause other problems .
