It gets hot on high mode , but it’s bright AF and the holster works great , this is my edc flashlight and I would buy it again

In the words of my dearly-departed grandfather - "This flashlight will burn the a** off a donkey at 5 miles!"I research everything I buy (don't laugh...you do the same thing). This Nitecore MH12SE model is insanely bright and provides everything you'd need with its different modes. Good, compact size and a decent holster too. It's worth the $99 bucks if you want a compact, 1800 lumen light that is well-built.

I personally use this light for when I’m at work as a security officer, and I have to say is it great for illuminating, especially dark areas at night and due to its compact size it’s easy to put on my security belt and not have it get in the way of anything. The only downside I have is to get hotter than expected when at the highest setting I normally don’t use it as often, but even on some of the lower settings it does tend to get toasty so my only recommendation is if you use it don’t have it on for extended periods of time .

I use this ligjt on patrol and bought it to replace another nitecore light I had used for 7 years. So far this has been a great replacement. It's very bright and sturdy and I love the ability to easily charge it in the car via usb-c. The 5 different levels of light is a lot to toggle through and I miss the old 3 levels but it's a great quality product.

EDC different brand flashlight dropped and wasn't noticed. Replaced with this light. Total upgraded. Haven't tested battery usage yet. Like how the button feel when pushed. Excited about the different phases it offers. Brightest phase is blinding. It reaches out far and wide.

Totally awesome flashlight. I live in the desert and frequently run my dogs at night. This tool is my coyote spotter and hasn’t let me down. It lights up the eyes of any wildlife that may be in my path extremely well. The only drawback to this item is if you leave it on the brightest setting for too long it gets pretty hot. It has 4 brightness settings, 2 strobe patterns, and an SOS pattern. Overall I love it.
