Another winning product from Brightech.I had bought the reading floor lamp from this company and was impressed with ease of assembly, effective light and design. I decided to provide additional light to other areas of my home so I searched their products and found the Brightech - Eclipse LED Floor Lamp Single Ring and this piece. I was pleased this floor lamp was even easier to assemble (not always my strong suit) than the reading floor lamp. Then I took the table/desk lamp out of its excellent protective packaging and found it required no real assembly - even better! It is truly a work of art that is highly functional. I use it in a dark corner on a dresser beside my bed and it provides excellent reading light. Illuminate, it is also an eye-catching element when you enter the room and provides a soft glow when set on the lowest of its 3 settings. The charger built into the base of the lamp is a handy feature for someone who tends to forget charging their phone at times. I can plug it in while I shower and dress and not miss calls.But the best feature besides its extremely functional aspects is it is unobtrusive yet eye-catching in design. I have had more compliments on it than I ever imagined. I put a collectible castle sculpture behind the ring and some people have thought it was lighting to set off the piece while others thought the castle was a hologram or part of the lamp. Think it will be fun to change out sculptures for different looks. Again it is a reasonably-priced item that is non-traditional in look. It would be very useful on an entry table or in a dark hallway.

Love to talk round and round oveR this lamp. I bought a second. Welcome to the future with this fun , fantastic and phenomenal lamp. Form and and function along with creative design brings this lamp home as a winner, especial the low voltage LED IN bright white with 3 dimmer intensities. I would have like to see the lowest light start the cycle rather than going from A dark room to the brightest right off the cycle. The lowest first would give your eyes an easier adjustment from dark to bright. The built in USB port is a genius idea. My lamps set on the night stand and provide an easy charge port for my iPhone and/or iPad at night. You can get a 12" cable and avoid add the extra wire with the close proximity of the charge port to the device setting on the nightstand. I also have another small reading clip on spot light for reading in bed as there is a allot of diffused light from the lamp which is equalized in the room but not the best for reading. A fare price although I found them in 2 places on Amazon. One for $29 with the USB port and $39 or $37 without the port. Mine were $29 each. I am interested in the torch lamp as I tend to get a bit excessive when I see something that is reasonable priced, innovative; combining both form and function brilliantly lit. The eyes have it!

Amazing LED end table lamp. 3 LED light levels, High setting is pretty bright but has comforting ambient lighting compared to the incandescent lamp that this Brightech has replaced. I enjoy the 'touch' sensor to lower the lamp light down to medium and lower light settings. Low light is very comfortable as it is not an overwhelming all over room light. At times I don't need the lamp light set to High so, setting the low light lets me see what I need at a comfortable low level of light. If I need a bit more light. I just touch the lamp sensor switch area until the light is set to a medium light.The added USB port is a convenient feature to where I can charge my mobile phone or other USB Device very easily. Cable clutter is simplified and the end table just looks clean and streamline.I like the simplicity of the workings and USB all in one. Plus the lamp overall looks great even when it is off. The footprint of the lamp is small so the base of the lamp does not take up a lot of space.I am very pleased with 3 sensor light switch, USB plug and over all aesthetic look the lamp displays when the light is on at any of the 3 settings.

Let me start by saying that this is a very nice lamp. It has a simple yet elegant design. It does not take up much space, occupying just a corner of my nightstand. It is easy to set up, just insert the cord into the base of the lamp and plug the other end into a wall outlet and that is it. Nothing to assemble or fool with. That being said, once I tapped the power button I was a trifle disappointed to discover that the light is on the inside of the circle rather than on the outside, which means that even on the brightest setting the lamp is not as bright as I might have wished, at least for the purpose of reading. I will almost certainly need supplementary light for this purpose. I will say that this will probably not pose a problem for those who are younger or with good eyes, but for those of us who skew older or have weak eyes, I think they might be better off exploring other options. This lamp actually might be better suited as a decorative piece, similar to the reviewer who uses it as a halo for a Buddha statue, than as a functional piece. I do not think it would make a very good desk lamp at all, and much prefer my Phive lamp which is far superior and much brighter. The included USB port comes in handy for overnight cell phone charging, but this is hardly a compelling selling point as a USB port seems to be included on most lamps. For design and elegance this lamp gets 5 stars, but for functionality and practicality I can only give it 3 stars.EDIT: I sent this email on 15 December 2017 to Lauren, one of the co-founders of Brightech, the date on which this lovely lamp ceased to function: "Hi Lauren. While this lamp is uniquely designed, it seems to have a rather short lifespan, since it died and will not revive on this day 15 December, approximately 45 days after first use. Prior to this date, there were times when the lamp would not turn on but unplugging it for a short time usually solved that issue. On this occasion, however, this method did not work and the lamp stays stubbornly cold and dark, a nicely shaped but stark circle that will need to be replaced by a less uniquely beautiful, but hopefully more reliable, source of illumination." I will update this review if or when I receive a reply. Downgraded to two stars as it did work well for a shining, though brief, moment.***I should add that this issue was resolved and a replacement lamp was sent that works very well. I increased my star rating to 4 stars.
