Is my day to day cup for coffee every morning

This is my first piece of titanium hiking kit. To be honest, I didn't feel much difference [in weight] when I held this and my old SS cup. But, dropped them both on the scale and sure enough...2.3oz for the Vargo-- 4.9 for the SS and 2.9 for the heavy walled plastic cup I'd used. The cup did very well on an open fire. Water seemed to heat quickly. With the handles toward the outside of the fire, they remained cooler than I would have thought. The rim came to a drinkable temp in short order. Unlike my anodized aluminum, there was no discoloration from the heat of the direct flame. Overall, a good open-fire cooker. It fits perfectly over an MSR Pocket Rocket stove. Again, a full cup of water seem to come to boil faster than with my SS or aluminum cup/pot. Handles are comfortable, albeit a bit thin. The cup does have some flex to it. You can easily squeeze it at the rim. But, unlike SS or aluminum, the titanium springs back to original shape after you release pressure. It will nest under a 24 oz SS bottle, but not a 32 oz. Overall, the cup delivers what it promises. Is a titanium cup for everyone? No. Probably not. Though you do save weight, it is not a lot to begin with. Yes. it will heat faster, but how critical is 30-45 seconds to you? On the downside, there is absolutely zero insulating value, so...if you are in the cold...drink quickly as your coffee/hot cocoa will not stay hot as it will in an insulated cup. To me, it is the perfect "gift" for someone who enjoys hiking. It is one of the "would really like to have...." but not a "absolutely need this..." type of item.

I bought this mug to save space by placing it around the base of a 32oz nalgene bottle. Unfortunately, since the product description didn't give a size, I read the reviews and based on them thought it would fit. It doesn't.Although I can't use it for it's intended purpose, it will still fit around a slimmer water bottle and I am sure it will find it's way into one of my packs.I gave it 4 stars because it is still a good mug, lightweight and durable, if a bit pricey. Product description should be more detailed.

Magnet didn't stick to it, feels heavier than aluminum, must be titanium. Washed it, put cold water in it, attempted to drink said water, my mouth fit on the cup, no leakage occured while drinking. Did I mention it is a cup :)Say's Vargo on it. Handles don't seem to slip out of place.It's what I expected, it's what was pictured.

I purchased this thinking it would be a large mug and come with a lid. it is only 450ML, and does not have a lid. it is not large enough for what I need it for, so I returned it without even removing it from the packaging.quality seemed fine from what I could tell.

Seems to be sturdy enough.Nothing wrong with it.

同じ時にVARGOのBOTを購入しまして、同じブランドのチタンマグがあっても良いな、と思って購入しました。購入ポイントは、前の方ののレビューの「とにかくかっこいい」というコメントに惹かれてです。今まではベルモントのスタッキングチタンマグを使用していましたが、この製品は円筒型なので、ドリップコーヒーを作る時とか座りが良くて良いですよ。

I've had the opportunity to use this cup quite a few times since I bought it three years ago. Its light, the handle pieces’ fold in tight, hard to ask for more out of a cup except maybe to have it fit around the bottom of a water bottle… oops.It doesn’t fit my Nalgene. That doesn’t mean that it got left out of the pack, I just had to get creative with what I put inside it so that no more space was used up.Other than the bottle issue I really can’t complain but you’d think that this would be something a company that makes equipment which will be used in back packs would think of.
