i bought this one Uni Mechanical Pencil Eraser Refill C (SKC) and its the same one that's in the pencil

Q: Does this model come with the rotating lead mechanism?

Yes it has the rotating mechanism , I think this model has the highest quality among the Kurutoga series.

Q: What should I do if the lead won't come out? I refilled it and it doesn't seem to want to come out.

There could be a few different reason. One: did you refill with the appropriately sized lead? the 0.5 lead pencil must be refilled with 0.5mm lead and the 0.3 lead pencil must be refilled with 0.3mm. If you refilled the 0.3 pencil with 0.5 lead, the lead will be too large for the mechanism to catch. Two: Could there be a broken piece of lead in the lead sleeve (tip of the pencil). This could be causing a jam. If there is, use another piece of lead to push the broken bit out. Three: It does take a few clicks for the mechanism to catch the new lead and feed it into the tip. If you've been clicking a lot and there's nothing come out it could be the other two reasons. Otherwise, keep clicking and eventually the mechanism will catch the leadFour: Was the pencil dropped? If the tip becomes slightly bent due to a drop, the lead won't be able to come out. The best way to check that is to take a piece of lead and feed it through the tip. If it goes into the tip without much force then the tip is fine and it could be one of the other reasons.Five: Maybe a defect in your particular pencil. I hesitate to put this on here because Uni has done a really good job of quality control with their high-end Kuru toga pencils. Still, mistakes happen and you may have gotten a dud.

Q: What type of lead comes inside? hb, h, 2h?

I don't know the lead type, it is hard though and draws a very fine line. You can order different lead types. The pencil is well made.

Brilliant.

Much better than I expected it to be. The lead turning mechanism really works well, nice to hold and a beautiful electric blue colour. Works well with pentel AIN 2B leads. Not gimmicky, but really practical.

Took longer than most orders to arrive (from Japan - of course it did!) but the wait was worth it. Handles very nicely. A bit lighter than my previous pencil (which had more metal at the business end) but I quickly became accustomed to it. Oh, and the wee origami crane slipped into the parcel was an amusing little surprise!
