Hook-up Wire Spool Set - 22AWG Solid Core - 10 x 25ft

I got the wire from here because at the time I couldn't get it from the Adafruit site. It's decent grade wire for my projects, and so far it's held up. Having all the colors is important because I can separate color to function, and even run a rainbow to make sure my electronic leads are readable. My convention is to reserve red and black for power and ground, then run the rest of the colors sequentially like a ribbon cable. In the absence of Radio Shack, Adafruit has filled in the gap.

In general very satisfied, except for the close color match violet/ black. Hard to distinguish especially in low lightening situations.

Overall pretty happy! Came with all 10 spools... strips decently and worked well for my projects. Not sure what else to say as it's pretty standard stuff, but it works!

It would be nice to be able to buy replacement spools of certain colors separately.

So, the box I received was an actual Adafruit product, but was missing the white spool. Not sure why this seller is so dishonest, maybe they keep one color from each box & make a free bonus sale for every ten they steal? Almost worth the effort to return out of principle, but I have projects I need to get on with. Just be aware there is a very good chance you will be shorted one random color from what you are paying for.

Works great so far for arduino projects. Easy to solder. Should last a long time with how short and tidy I keep my wires.

Not a bad quality wire set for the price. The plastic coating pulls back from the wire due to soldering, a different coating material would be better but it is not a huge deal breaker. Still decent for the price and ilI think a good value.

great variety of colors, have gotten lots of use out of this kit with my electronics projects!
