Ruta Maya Organic Decaffeinated Coffee Dark Roast 2.2 Lbs

Delicious decaf!

I mix these beans with a regular caffeinated coffee bean so I have enough caffeine to get thru the day but not so much that I am jittery.This decaf coffee has a good smell and taste on its own. I keep the beans in the original bag and reseal them between grinding which is about once every 4 or 5 days. I keep the grindings in an airtight snap enclosure in the pantry and make stovetop 12 cup percolator. Yes it is time consuming and you have to watch it close to the boiling, but it is such a smooth cup of coffee and I don’t have to worry about hard water scaling messing up another coffeemaker or affecting the taste of the brew.I’d definitely recommend this decaf coffee to anyone.

Love a bold tasting coffee, since purchasing a breville burr grinder By grinding the whole bean either coarse or ultra fine I can alter its flavor from mild to very bold, this is an organic dark roast and the flavor comes through, I actually use it in my Nespresso Virtuoso coffee machine and refill my own pods resulting in quite a substantial savings and being that I drink 5-10 cups per day the decaf was a gamble since I enjoy a strong black cup of joe, the dark roast decaf delivered the perfect cup, it’s not the cheapest nor the most expensive but I just recently discovered you can purchase (2) bags from Costco and save even more $$, I just picked up 4 bags, highly recommended

Ok, I'm apparently uneducated where coffee is concerned as I'm decidedly a fan of dark roasts I know, I know...hipsters tell me I'm drinking the burn left-overs of the "good stuff" (lite and medium roasts). With Coffee, i'm NOT looking for fruity undertones...if i want that I'll have...fruit! I'm not looking for "hints of vanilla." If I want vanilla, I'm damn well not going to hint at it. And with my coffee, i want something that is equal parts: chocolate, cuban cigar, and Joy. Ruta Maya delivers on all that. I tend to brew pots of half decaf, half regular and it is, amazing.

Wish there was a 5 lb package that would help to save a little more.

We have been buying Ruta Maya's Dark Roast and Decaf beans for years. They are always roasted perfectly, not burnt, not underdone, just right.
