Good value for the $$ but not perfect
This item is great except for a couple of things:- dry erase ink can be difficult to remove- there is no "Engraved lettering" on this item. The lettering is ink or paint, applied to the plastic surface.

Didn’t Survive the Shoot - Do Not Recommend
TL;DR had a half-day shoot and this clapper didn't make it an hour or so before a screw or something fell off and was lost in the ether and the magnetic piece that was connected to the bottom part of the clapper was lost as well, but not sure when.It wasn't being abused or tossed around. It was gently being placed on a cart and then used for its purpose. The title for this clapper says "professional" and I disagree with that after using it. I think it made me and my crew look even less professional because as we are using it pieces are falling off. Would not recommend this product. Last, not sure if it was because of the whiteboard material or the dry erase marker, but we could not for the life of us get the marker off to write the new information on it. We used dry erase spray, the old dry-erase over the dry-erase marker to remove and nothing was getting that stuff off. It may have been the marker since later on I was using another dry erase marker to erase it later and that removed some it, and when I wrote on it with that same marker it wiped off fine, but it did still leave a dark smudge behind that even dry-erase cleaner wouldn't remove. Very sad this clapper didn't work and hopefully, this review helps you in your buying decision. Good luck!

Gets dirty quickly
The fact that it is made out of acrylic instead of dry erase board makes it very difficult when you erase the dry marker because it stains the acrylic. Then you have to use toothpaste and elbow grease to get it off.

Inexpensive, but works pretty well. I wouldn't want this for daily production work but for occasional use it's fine.

Good product. Tighten the bolts
It lost a bolt early one but we still love it.
