A perfect choice

Good lightweight, fast-drying hiking pants although I was highly disappointed that the small safety-reflective "Eddie Bauer" logo started to come off after just ONE washing and has now frayed and rubbed loose. Not that it really matters, but given the price of these, I would expect the trademark branding to be of much better quality ... such as actually embroidered rather than screened/ironed-on. Good pants otherwise, though, and I do appreciate how comfortable and free-moving they are.

I’ve only worn these a few times, I wish I could get a replacement.

These are NOT the same Rainier or Guide Pro pants that can be found at either the Eddie Bauer or Eddie Bauer Outlet stores. These pants are most likely the one’s that can be found at Kohl’s, and do not have any stretch in the body or legs of the pants. They are a much lighter and inferior nylon than the pants that can be found at the true Eddie Bauer stores.UPDATE: Another way you can tell that what’s being sold here on Amazon isn’t the same product as what’s sold in the retail stores is the photos I’ve attached. What’s being sold on Amazon and in Kohl’s (the brown pants on the right in the first photo are from Kohl’s. Also what’s sold here on Amazon. The color is Sepia, which is not sold in the Eddie Bauer retail stores.) has the logo on the rear pocket printed, where the pants that are sold at the Eddie Bauer stores is a sewn on label. The inside labels at the back of the waist are different as well.

That’s what I received.

I enjoy wearing Eesie Bauer, in fact I have quite of few pair of paint. But I don’t like the fit, material and cut of this model. It seems the waist band is too loose or it rapidly looses tightness, so wearing a belt is recommended. This material feels different than other Eddie Bauer pants, cheaper. It is also noisier when you walk, which annoys me. I’m starting to wonder if these are genuine Eddie Bauer pants..
