Billetworkz Shifter Stop for 2015-25 Subaru WRX, Red

Crazy what this small piece of metal can do to shift feel. Was a pain to dial in as I wanted not play at all but got it enough to perfection. So tight sometimes I can't tell if I'm in 1st or third taking off

Really hard to dial this thing in. I was stuck having nice 1st and 2nd shifts but losing 4th and 5th and 6th gear entirely. You have to take every millimeter into consideration for this part and be very precise. Also note that 5th and 6th gear will be closer to you so no need to push too far!Overall I'm satisfied with this shift stop, feels great and hasn't loosened at all after about 500 miles of driving.I'd keep the Allen key ready in the car so you can adjust for precision. It will take a while to dial this thing in!

As many reviews here, YouTube and elsewhere state, this completely changes the feel of the car and improves the factory shift 100%.Some additions:Once you pull the factory shift boot, you quickly see Subaru could have solved this problem for $15. There is a shift stop for the 5-6 gate, with a riser for the reverse lockout, that is adjustable whether you install this or not. This piece serves as an identical stop on the 1-2 gate.One thing to be sure of in the install is to make sure your 5-6 gate is adjusted as well. If you leave it accidentally loose or it loosens before you tighten down the bolts, the shifter will be able to go in reverse w/o raising the collar.An improvement I'd suggest to Cobb, Billetworkz, Perrin and other manufacturers of nearly identical shift stops, is to coat, affix or put a piece of delrin along the face that the shifter hits. While the shift feel is 100% improved, there is a metal click when the shifter hits the stop. It would be nice if that sound was softened to make it feel and sound expensive.I have a '23 WRX with the STi short shifter, and this really improves especially the 1-2 shift. Because it makes the shift more linear and direct, I get less bucking on shifts to 2nd where I'm trying to rev match. My pitch stop solved 80% of that problem, this solves the rest.

I purchased this for a 2022 wrx and it is an absolute must. The slop is unbearable. This will tighten up 1st and 2nd considerably. Just don't make it too tight to where you struggle to get into gear. There is a fine line between perfect and over doing it.

Easy install and works like a dream!

Well made and looks nice but it’s kind of a pain to dial in perfect. Would be nice if they incorporated a jam nut to hold the factory stop for 5-6th gear in place independently so you can adjust them separately.

I didn’t think a small thing like this would change the shifting that much. It’s an absolute must. It took me 10 minutes to install and it took out all the give in 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th gear. It’s so smooth. It’s a 100% must have.

Excellent shift stop, well worth the money!
