Super Bright - MR16 GU5.3 LED Light Bulb
For a rather no name product, these are really well constructed. Price - for a none brand, a little high, though so far, pleased. I've had these a couple months now and enjoy the brightness. Hoping they will last the 25,000 hours claimed.UPDATE: 8/22/19 Well, after just 2 1/2 months, 7 weeks, 84 days of normal use, the bulbs started to fail, rapidly. Four (4) died with 5 minutes of each other. Two stopped working, then a 3rd, next a fourth. All on the same switch; a valid LED dimmer. INSANE. I will be calling Amazon for TorchStar's contact details as it is not on the order, nor ad. Let's see how well they honor their 3 year warranty, with receipt and YES, purchase through Amazon, by TorchStar. Dropped from 5 Star in June, to 1 Star now. MORE TO FOLLOW.

Angels are not the only ones to have halos.
I had another brand previously but I wanted a more whiter white. That brand did not offer them so I tried this one out. This are not good. They seem to have 2 led colors to 'mix' the colors to the temperature you purchased. The reason I say this is because there is a serious yellow halo all around the outside. So, you end up with white center color and a very yellow outside. These are pointed toward a wall so the color variation is very noticeable and irritating. I hope these burn out quickly and I can not feel to bad about buying something else. But with my luck, they will last forever.Sep 8th 2022. Still going strong. Wish these died so I could buy more. But they are still going strong. Still hate them but they are working. Wish I could have the both reliable and color trueness.

Very pleased with these LED lights
I’m not able to attest to the longevity of these light bulbs. I wanted to use these for our recessed lighting fixtures in our kitchen and utility rooms and at 5,000k, these bulbs really do the job- daylight brightness and the angle of disbursement are great. We tried 3,000k bulbs (too warm) and these did not meet our expectation. I suspect that led bulbs at 4,000k will also provide enough brightness if you are looking for something close to “daylight”brightness. Our fixtures are 12v so they do not use a whole lot of electricity. All these led bulbs come at a price so hopefully, they’ll come close to meeting the longevity claims made by the seller.

They are heavier than other LEDs, working well but on the expensive side
Bought these "dimmables" to replace two 3 X 50W Halogens that were on Lutron dimmers. It's a month in & they're still looking & working great. But due to their cost I wish I'd tried the non-dimmable BoxLoods first (which I found as dimmable as these - see my review - maybe its that Lutron dimmers are great?). These dim as all LEDs seem to, ~ 40% brightness, not as low as Halogens but will take 'em @ about 1/10 the wattage.Photos: 2 closeups of my TorchStar LEDs, photo of 3X TorchStars in light fixture. I had to bend/tilt the delicate wire Techlight fixture to hold these heavy TorchStars properly, would not have had to with the lighter Boxloods. Operationally, I see no difference (advantage/disadvantage) between. But the dimmable (for me w/Lutron) "non-dimmable" Boxloods are lighter & ~ 1/2 the price. Not sure about longevity yet, its only been a month. Will update if disappointed:)

Good Replacement for Halogen Lights
The color temperature is similar to incandescent, they are very bright when full on, and they dim well to about 10% brightness if you use an approved dimmer. NOTE: Some people may want them to be able to dim even more, but we are happy with 10%. We replaced about 24 halogen track lights with these and have cut our energy use by 75%.
