Excellent Classroom Addition
I have utilized this time in my classroom. The plastic is durable and easy to see through. The item was in pristine condition when I received it. The size could be a little bigger for my kiddos, however, it was user-friendly.

Still looks great after five years
I have been using this chart for 5 years in my second grade classroom. It is really a quality product and still looks very nice on my wall. I hang it with removable 3M hooks and it hangs just fine. The extra straws fit well in the extra pouch, but not all at once. I put a handful in there at a time and then when it runs low, I add more. We use this for how long we have been in school and it is even easy for my students to use. You have to provide your own rubber bands to make bundles. The numbers and words are easy to read and they have lasted this long without laminating or altering in any way. I would recommend this for any classroom!

Solid construction...using for different purpose.
I actually bought this just for the pockets to use as a chore chart. I have my 3 kids pics on one row. Laminated cards with chores we rotate on one. And the larger pockets hold the kidskash they earn and redeem monthly for an allowance. The big pocket at the bottom holds the kash so they can get it themselves when they earn it. We've been using this for over a year.....kids pulling things out and putting things in (now ages 8, 6, and 4) and it has withstood all their wear and tear. (Now I need to find something else to work so I can add another kid!)

Good product
Looks to be a well-made product, as most Scholastic items are. I do have couple of complaints, however: 1) the velcro pocket at the bottom does not hold all of the straws; 2) there are not enough straws to allow for bundling up ten "ones" so kids see it as a "ten", you apparently just move one of them into a tens position and start over with your ones, and that holds true for the hundreds as well, just placing one straw in for a group of ten "tens". There are between 200 and 205 straws total (I was interrupted several times counting...). Overall, a good product for the price, and if you just want to count the number of days you have been in school, this would be fine.

Counting skills
This can be used to teach place value, counting skills during your morning meetings, or count how many days we've been in school emphasizing grouping tens, place value and counting on from a number. You can hot glue a magnet to the back of it to be used on the whiteboard. Satisifed!

Great product!
Works well in my classroom. As others have said, the red straws are too tall and block the numbers but you just need to trim them down a bit and you’re good to go.

Great Classroom Display
I use this in a second grade classroom. It is bright, easy to read, and simple for the children to update daily.
