Stable voltage at 3v3. If you are using this on a GPIO pin on a RasberryPi in input mode, be sure to put a 6.8k ohm resistor between the 3v3 output from the regulator and the GPIO pin. GPIO pins cannot take more than 50ma. I have gotten different answers from everyone I asked if I needed a resistor to use this. I found out for my self. I tried without a resistor for a few milliseconds of current, and it was fine. I got everything hooked up, my sensor outputs for about 2 seconds. This caused the pi to restart. Furthermore, it was worse when it was on for more than a few seconds. It did not damage my Pi, but you NEED to keep below 50ma, it has to be regulated with that 6.8k ohm resistor.
