This Is An Excellent Interesting Book.
This is an excellent interesting book. I liked this book because I learned many facts that I did not know before reading this book. Some of the interesting information mentioned in this book include the following information: The main island of Mauritius is approximately 530 miles East of Madagascar in the Southwest Indian Ocean. There are no indigenous people in Mauritius. Mauritians are a mixed people whose ancestors had their roots in many parts of the world. The main languages used in daily life in Mauritius are Kreol, French, and a smattering of English. Mauritians of various backgrounds like to explore different foods and savor foods associated with other communities. One Mauritian brand, Eski, offers interesting exotic flavored drinks, such as almond and vanilla. The UK is the destination of about 30% of Mauritian exports, mainly sugar and clothing. The United States receives about 9% of Mauritian exports. Mauritians, like the British, drive on the left side of the road.

Nice precise booklet
The booklet really gave a nice view of life in Mauritius and matched the description of the variety of nationalities in that country. WIll reccomend that to anyone wanting to have a quick glimpse of that country. Was amazed at the precision of the ideas written there!

Interesting but not so surprising
This guide is well-written and easy to read and mildly enjoy. However I did not really find any particularly revealing topics which would help me navigate the local environment. Any traveller who is a bit culture-sensitive would have been able to guess most of the suggestions directly. Not much focused on holiday travellers, more on business and moving there as an expat.

Great Guide
Bought this before I travelled to the Island with my partner and we read it on the plane out there and during the holiday. Found it a great factual read and opened out eyes to a lot of the culture that we would have otherwise missed.
