Design Drawing

This is great for the artist who really wants to advance, this is a college level read though so a young teenager may not do well with this one.

I love this book! The drawings really help explain the text. The technical aspects of different drawing techniques are explained and there are many illustrations. I have not yet looked at the CD but the book itself is worth the price. Everything has a hand-drawn look and is helpful for a student like myself that is learning drafting. I bought the book because I was especially interested in the paraline drawings and I am not disappointed. There are also exercises you can do for yourself to learn the content better.

very impressive. it explained everything about drawing so well along with examples. the exercises are very helpful too. I'm learning a lot from it. excellent book so far. I would recommend it for anyone that is serious about drawing or want to improve their drawing skills.

GOod quality book with some great basics to get started in architecture.

I like how they communicate between information and pictures also it has very important to use it for reference

If my professors in college would have introduce this text in Drawing 2 and Intro Graphic Design, I would be am Architect by now

I've had some e-books which are nothing more than a glorified PDF without any formatting to make them more accessible on small or mobile devices. This book is nice with regard to reading/referencing on the go. The chapters are nicely indexed and the content is easy to view, zoom-in on, and navigate through.

I hate the cover page but the content of the book is amazing. I don't know why the coverage is different than the usual one.

Flicked through previous versions of this book much earlier on in my study, wish I'd spent some of my hard-borrowed loan money on this book back then instead of luminous Ben Sherman shirts and dodgy beer! Still as informative as ever: the sections on applying the principles to CAD / CGI images are an interesting addition (may be useful to some, but personally felt that these sections were more on the periphery of the book's strongest points).The videos are great though, either to view on your computer screen alongside your work, or transfer to a phone / mobile device.

Exactly what I needed

You re probably starting architecture. I purchased it because some teachers considered it to be a must have but to be honest I opened it twice in 2 years for very minor questions. Something you should know I purchased it on my 4th semester.
