This review is regarding the floor mats for the third row of the 2022 Model Y.As many others have noted, the middle piece of this three-set does not actually work. It is intended to cover the two inner tracks on which the second row slides back and forth as well as the small space between them.It looked like a clever solution to cover an awkward space. To install all three floor mats on the third row, you raise the second row seats up just as you would to enter/exit the third row as a passenger.The issue with the middle piece is that it covers those two inner tracks such that the second row of seats cannot be returned to their locked position. To be clear, I am not describing the positioning of the second row that creates leg room for the third row. I mean to say you literally cannot put the second row back down because this piece blocks the tracks entirely.For this reason, I've scored the product poorly on value. The middle piece is unusable and therefore a waste of product/money.

Does not fit the middle portion of the 3rd row. How in the world do you fit the middle portion if the 2nd row moves when you adjust it. I tried all angles. Does not make sense how they made the 3rd row middle portion. Waste of money

The 3rd row middle mat does not fit. I contacted the seller and seller does not want to admit mistake. You could only fit in all 3 mats if the entire second row is lifted up as if you are entering the 3rd row. When you push down and latch the second row, the middle cover is on the way of the latch. Who would ise the 3rd row with the second row lifted up? I dont even think your tesla will let you drive with the second row unlatched. DO NOT BUY!.

The left and right mats of the third row model Y fit ok. You sometimes hear it catch if you close the third row but it’s workable. The middle portion was the surprise.It doesn’t explain it anywhere but it really only works if the third row is left open. Sure it covers the rails but I don’t see myself taking it on/off every time we use the 3rd row

The middle insert doesn't fit the Y. If you use it you can't slide the seats. What was the manufacture thinking?

Middle piece does not fit well under the second row seat. Appears that is intended to cover the rails but does not allow the anchor to attach.

So it's true if you don't use the 3rd row you can't use the middle piece as it won't let the seats slide back but for that I just put the extra mat in the back truck until I do use the 3rd row. The biggest selling point for me is the 2nd row side cover near the door. These are super rare to find for 7 seater model y. Glad I got Maxpider for my front and back row great mats but to see they are the only branch doing this for 7 seater just ties all of my mats togethers and makes the car look good.

First time leaving a bad review for a seller.First, the middle part never fit on Model Y 7 seater and I knew already from others reviews and put it on a side cause won't use it anyways. I was planning to utilize only two mats which are left and right only. I installed them but didn't test it cause it's just the mats. However, I was wrong. Couple months later and had a chance to use third row seat and realized that both mats were badly jamming between the second row seats and wasn't able to slide back the second rows due to jammed by the mats. I contacted the seller and they denied to provide me a full refund only partial refund and also wanted me to pay the return shipping cost. WHY? The product wasn't made accurately or design flaw for this vehicle and false advertisement. Contacted Amazon customer care center and I was advised that they'll fight back for me. Thanks Amazon!

The pitons behind the seats for perfectly. As others have said the middle section only works when seats up and middle seats are forward, it can’t be left on the car. Overall, happy with product, but pretty expensive.
