Lonely Planet Argentina: Perfect for exploring top sights and taking roads less travelled (Travel Guide)

A great addition to holiday preparations.

It's inevitable that in a volume covering the whole of the country there is a price to pay in terms of detail, despite its size. Coverage of the sights is limited and too much focus upon where to stay and eat. It's a bulky tome which isn't convenient to carry around with you. Unless you are travelling around Argentina think about buying a book on the area you are going to rather than this.

Lonely Planet is the most comprehensive and up to date guide for Argentina.It saves a fortune when you can take the book and do not need guided tours.

Esta guía está muy detallada y completa, vale la pena cada centavo. Como sugerencia deberían cubrirla con un plástico ya que venia solo con la bolsa de Amazon y llegó dañado de la pasta frontal.

Ottima guida, una garanzia!

This version was published in January 2022, post covid, so I would have expected Lonely Planet to doublecheck their recommended addresses. It is not the case. Too many of the mentioned hotels, activities, and restaurants have shut down making this edition unreliable.
