nice idea but poor quality and does not look like it does in the picture

I bought this about two years ago to use with some other makeup for a stock photo shoot for a book cover. The idea was to have a zombie-esk looking hand coming up out of the ground. I wanted to have as much on the hand as possible so it would be easier for me to edit for the cover later. The author pushed the book back, so I didn't get to do anything with the appliance until last week.My friend, who ended up being the model, has very tinny hands so I had to trim some of the edging off. The latex that came with it was clumpy & didn't stick at all. I had a bottle & used that, but it wouldn't really hold it down. I ended up using 3D Gel around the edges to keep in place. The fake blood that came with it was way too thin, so I used some Mehron Stage Blood. It's really thick & makes the wound more realistic looking.All in all, it's wasn't too bad. I'm glad that I had extra stuff on hand to use with it, or I wouldn't have been able to use it at all.

I work in a haunted house and this appliance held up well for the seven nights we were open and survived so well that I've cleaned it and put it into my makeup kit for future use.I only used the appliance out of this kit. So I can't provide experience with the adhesive or removal solvent (I use medical adhesive for all of my appliances). and a higher quality latex.With good application, makeup, and a bit of blood it really grossed out not just the customers but other actors as well.

It got the job done, people loved it and hated it for it's real look. My only complaint is the adhesive that came with it is worthless, and does not work at all. I knew this from the reviews, so I got some spirit gum, and even that didn't work great. But aside of the adhesive, it was great.

A little big for my hand (and I don't have small hands) Used it on my foot instead and it looks great. Used latex to smooth and attach the edges better. Looks great!

It doesn’t look like the image. I was expecting for it to have the look of actual bones for the band. You could use this as another wound on the body though

I didn't take a pic because it looked ridiculous when applied. Would not purchase if you are going for realism./
