TableCraft Coca-Cola 12-Ounce Glass Sugar Shaker

SO much nicer than the plain old sugar shaker I had at my old house. Glad I decided to go with a red themed kitchen and found this little gem. The lid of this one doesn't seem to be as difficult to get off to wash it. The other one I had, it seemed like the sugar got sticky around the lid and acted like glue, making it nearly impossible to get it apart to refill or wash. Beware when pouring into anything hot, the steam will cause some sugar to stick around the flap. I just wipe it away with my finger and push the flap down when that happens.

I've had this dispenser for a few months now, and I have to say... it's only good for looks. In practice, sugar has a tendency to get trapped between the cover and glass, which can get messy, often impossible to unscrew when refilling. Also, keep in mind that if you pour over steaming hot beverages, sugar may also crystallize at the opening (size of a hole punch)-- I typically have a towel handy on each use to keep the small lid over it from getting stuck. I wish the opening was a little larger so I could use a funnel to refill instead. One of the reasons for this purchase was the vintage style and the fact that it was a coated cover (rather than plain stainless steel). This is a beautiful item and shouldn't just be "on display only". But, I'm going back to a sugar bowl.

Bought this despenser because I am a Coke-a-Cola fan and liked the design. Also because I received a new Keurig style coffee maker fro Christmas and wanted something easier to dish out the sugar for tea anc coffer. I have had this for a couple months now, and it still looks good, is heavy glass and seems to work well. Plus I like the red design. Great buy.

Cute and size just right for me. The sugar tends to stick but once you pop it against your hand it loosens and works fine. Otherwise would have been five stars. Can be used just as decoration too.

I PURCHASED THIS THINKING THAT IT WAS LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL DINER DISPENSER THAT I HAVE, BUT I WAS WRONG IT IS THE SAME SIZE WITH THE ADDITION OF A RED CAP AND COCA COLA WRITTEN ON IT.

This item does not work for Splenda. Splenda is too light and is very frustrating to get out. I filled it with regular sugar instead and it works better. It does get stuck sometimes and then you have to shake it just enough so you don't have an avalanche. I would not recommend this product.

This sugar shaker is not only sturdy and well made, but also very attractive. My only complaint was that the metal flap over the hole fell off, but I was able to fix that.

We have a ‘malt shop oldies’ theme in our basement and host Initial Outfitters parties there. This adds to the ambiance and feel of the theme and guests absolutely love it. They look great and the quality is descent as well. Absolutely love having it on display for all to see, and use for coffee or tea! [...] [...]
