Had this saw in my basket for years after hearing lots of positive stuff about it online. Noticed it was in the sale one day so took the plunge. It was absolutely worth it. Believe the hype, these saws are superb tools and worth every penny. Would definitely recommend.

I like Japanese tools . This saw has a very fine cut for precise work .I find it easier to use than a tenon or dovetail saw. The power stroke is on the uncut. The teeth are fine so slow to cut

I was cutting dovetails with a really cheap saw I bought and the kerf was way too wide. I could never get a tight joint using that cheap saw. This suizan though made a huge difference. Granted I still had to pay attention and make sure of my cuts, it wasn't as if this tool did the work for me, but cutting on the pull stroke, the smaller kerf, the ergonomics of the handle etc meant I was a lot better at cutting the joint. Plus because I was going well and this is such a nice tool in the hand that I cut a lot more practice joints than I did before. So happy with this purchase

I bought the pull saw for specifically for finer work and later on for making dovetail joints. First impressions are good and I can see why so many have provided great reviews. This was a good buy and I can see me using the saw many times in the future, especially where neatness and accuracy of cut are concerned. I'd recommend to others too and given the price, is affordable to most.

Great quality, does the job.

It is the one of the best dovetail saw if not the best. Rip blade cuts effortlessly. Only issue is with their packaging. Every saw i ordered came bent. I wish they handle packaging better.

Should have bought this way sooner. So much easier to cut dovetails. Cuts super fast (both cross and rip cuts) with minimal to no tear out. Super thin kerf. Really excellent. Be aware that if you use dovetail saw guides you might want to get the bigger one to get maximum cutting depth
