I love the look of this olive branch. I had it on for 5 minutes. The second time I tried it, batteries failed. I had to replace the batteries and it works… so am not returning it. Too pretty. Shame that they put in failing batteries.

I added this to my fireplace mantle, and it looks beautiful! I absolutely love it! It makes my family room so nice and cozy in the evenings. It has three settings, timer, on and off. The timer lasts for six hours. If you prefer to do it manually, you can just turn it on and off when you want to. It looks beautiful with and without the lights on. The garland does require 3 AAA batteries to light it. I would highly recommend!

BUYER BEWARE UPDATE: I bought three of these birch lights last year, which were great for Christmas 2021 decor. Got them back out of a dry, cool storage area for this year and one strand simply won’t work anymore. I fiddled with the wires, tried new batteries, spoke nicely to it…nothing works. Really a bummer…for the price of $30+ a strand, I’d hoped to get more than one year of mileage out of these beauties.ORIGINAL REVIEW: These branches are really elegant. I bought them as Christmas decor embellishments and hung them vertically on support beams in my apartment. I hung ornaments from the tendrils, and everyone complimented the beautiful aesthetic. In the right application, they are great for everyday us as well. Remove the xmas ornaments, and voila!!! They did NOT come with a remote, so you have to manually push the battery pack button to turn them on/off unless you use the timer setting, in which case they will turn off automatically and magically turn on again at the same time you originally powered them on, 24 hours later. I love that they are portable with the battery packs - could really sparkle up a picnic or outdoor party setting on-the-go. I do wish, in my apartment, I could somehow tie them into direct electric power so I don’t blast through batteries for everyday use. Overall, they’re beautiful, easily bendable, and very bright!!!

I ordered a wooden arbor, silk flowers, these light-up silk leaves, and a pack of long green zip ties to hold things, for my son's wedding, all from Amazon.We set it up at home prior to the event to "play" with it and get it how the bride wanted. Then transported it to the venue.It turned out so beautiful!!!Total cost for everything $385.I was pleased that the leaves stayed lit for the entire event!But I just now see the review questions mentions a remote control. There was no remote control. Each strand of leaves had a little box at the end that held the batteries and had a switch to put it on to stay on, and another that put it on for 6 hours then turned off. We never tried the 6 hour function, we just had it on. We used 4 strands of lights for the arbor.

Love it. The only thing is I would like to be able to set the timer to a specific hour to go in and off

I would give zero stars if I could! Lights began to dim after only 3 days on timer and brand new batteries. When I opened the battery compartment to change them, a clear fluid came out and my hand was burned by battery fluid! I bought 5 strings and 4 of 5 caused the batteries to leak! Returned all 5. DO NOT BUY!
