Have spent hours on downloads and still can't olay.** A: Yes the single player mode is called the Campaign mode. I have a physical disc that contains COD Vanguard 1.0 It was required to go online to fetch three downloads in sequence. First Version 1.09 is installed, which was a 21GB download. Then there is a Campaign 1 download that is 9GB. Finally there is a Campaign 2 download that is 11GB. So a total of about 40GB of download to play the single player mode. I have DSL and I can only download 1GB per hour, so it will take 40 hours for the three downloads. Yes, that is nearly 2 days of constant downloads for me to play the solo version. I just started the 3rd download so will update this comment if the game works **Q: Does this have the ps5 upgrade** A: Yes, but the upgrade is NOT free--you will have to pay $10 to upgrade to the PS5 version. **Q: Does this have to be tied to internet to play once everything is loaded?** A: I don't know for sure.
