Also is it use as is? How many square foot per bottle?** A: Yes, we found it works well on Pergo. It don't take very much of it. I don't know exactly how many square feet it covers but it goes a long way. **Q: How do I get rid of the ugly film left behind? Short of 'hands and knees' nothing seems to work.** A: Are you using it full strength. I don't I only add 1/4 to 1/2 of the lid cup.Then fill the tank with distilled water. I have a med light wood floor. I don't see a film and I am a picky. A dark floor would show more, I would just used distilled water till your film goes away. I hope this helped. **Q: Can this be used with steam shot?** A: I believe steam shot uses steam primarily… Hopefully I was able to help… **Q: Is it ok to use on sealed tile and grout?** A: I believe the instructions of the mop say yes. The scent is a bit odd, but not horrible, a little unnatural smelling would be the best way to describe it. The bottle is a decent size and last through a few full home deep cleans. So far this product has not caused any discoloration on any fabrics or surfaces I’ve used it on, so seems gentle enough but I’d always recommend spot testing in an inconspicuous area first. I’ve used this on our velvet sofa as well as synthetic and natural fibers (e.g. cotton, wool and whatever our cheap area rug is made of). It also has worked well on tiled areas and hard metal faucets for disinfecting. I use this particular brand as our steam mop is made by Bissell and specifically states to only use it to not damage & extend the life of the steam mop.
