Wish it worked out, but fumes are horrible
I’m a super cheap person and the price was right to heat my 16x20 garage. Plumbed it all in and hooked up no problem. Closed doors for about 20 minutes. Came in and it’s nice and warm. But the fumes are really bad. I wished this worked out good. I’m located just outside Calgary Alberta Canada and just wanted it to keep my farm cats and vehicle warm. But it’s no good. Had my wife come and feel it out. And my 13 and 11 year old son and daughter. They said it smelt bad and it’s lacking oxygen. There’s a reason it’s not aloud in Canada. Don’t like giving bad reviews but just wanna safely warn potential buyers. I will be saving up for a vented garage heater. It’s too bad but don’t waste your time like I did and be safe!

Better than Mr. Heater!
Bought to replace the Mr. Heater model. This, hands down comes up on top. Easy to light. Easy re-light. Not like my Mr. Heater. Mr. Heater would cut out after an hour, then take another hour to re-light. This only has 3 settings, but not an issue. Mine is in a garage. I only use low, even preheating garage. After a few hours I need to shut it down.PS..... I never, ever leave a review!

Just a steel cage with gas grill with flame exposed. Illegal in Canada as well.
Wacked stuff. It is basically nothing but just gas grill you can see in a gas fireplace in a open flimsy steel cage. In the picture it does look like the front is covered with a flameproof glass, but no. Nothing. No anything other than the chicken cage there. Wondered about what makes it vent free and that if such can be used indoors why would makers still produce direct vented gas heaters. Guess what? It just throws gas flames to your house, sacrificing oxygen. Their response to make it vent-free was some oxygen depletion sensor, but even that is not something that you can put life on

Requires adequate outside ventilation to be safe.
This heater is very easy to install. Although the heater is not really approved in most of Canada and in most of the USA, apparently one can install it on his own. One might have problems hiring a certified gas technician to install this item. There are safety concerns with oxygen shortage and carbon dioxide. It is strongly advisable to have a fresh air vent open when the heater is on.

Basic heat source for construction or garage
Great for heating garage or enclosed outdoor patio. We used this for a construction site on a temporary gas permit.Outer shell is rather flimsy. Item is tippy. We needed to build a support for it.No fan on this so heating is extremely warm near the unit, and cool a few feet away. High, medium and low settings don't have much difference in heat output.
