Q: How long how long does it take for sand to sink? I have 12 “ but it’s really 10”

It really depends. If the bubbles are too big or not placed right, it can all sink within seconds or minutes. We had one or two where the bubbles were able to support some sand on top, like pictured, and that took a while to settle - hours, maybe? But I don't know if you count the top coming down too. So basically, it varies.

Q: The sand mainly falls down the sides so I only get peaks in middle ontop. How 2 make it fall from the middle to make bottom middle peaks like ur pix?

There is a tiny hole in the rim of the disc that is supposed to allow you to release air that gets trapped in there. A small syringe-like gadget is supposed to come with the disc, but customs considers it contraband, so it cannot be shipped with the disc. The company representative said that a small craft syringe should allow the release of the air, which in turn should allow the sand to fall better.
