Does what's advertised
Just wanted to drop a quick review on this entry level Cuckoo air purifier.Overall a solid purifier but has a few flaws.1. status led lights stay on which lights up a dark room. there should be an option to hide status lights.2. low mode still loud which makes high purification mode sound like you're in a wind tunnel.I'd give this a 3.5 but I'll round it up to a 4 since there hasn't been any malfunctions.

Super satisfied. Getting another one as a gift!
I was in search for an air purifier with HEPA filter, preparing for the allergy season in dry California.Air purifiers are common in almost every household in Korea and Cuckoo is one of the top Korean brand. At my work, we already have a Cuckoo brand air purifier since COVID - a much larger one though. All my coworkers including myself like what we have at the office, so I knew I wanted Cuckoo and I am satisfied I got this model. It has one of the largest floor coverage for the price and the size! The design is sleek and it’s nice to have a handle on top - easy to take it out of the box and carry it around from kitchen to bedroom. I took this little guy to the kitchen when we were stir frying with spices and it did work hard, automatically adjusting to high speed mode and the spicy smell disappeared quickly. In the bedroom, I put it in quiet night-mode all night (my allergy gets severe at night) and I slept so peacefully without waking up rubbing my eyes and nose.It has a timer function but I leave it on all day in auto mode. I regret I didn’t buy it sooner.I am getting another one to gift it to a friend who’s having a baby. Not so many of my friends use or know about an air purifier but I know for sure they would appreciate having one.

Sensitive air purity sensor (which is good), can be loud, expensive filter - comprehensive review
Bought this air filter in 5/2021 and is used in a ~500sq ft room in NYC.This filter does not have a remote and cannot be used with smart devices or phones (it is not marketed as such). But having this option makes would've made it very convenient, as the purity sensor is triggered fairly easily so there are times you want to turn it down/off.At first, it was louder on normal/auto mode than we expected, but it really isn't very loud and you get used to it fairly quickly. It does kick up to medium and high modes fairly sensitively (this can be a plus or minus depending on your preference), but if you cook meat or anything smokey, it will very quickly kick up to high.High mode is very loud, like a VERY loud fan. But it'll kick back down to normal mode as soon as it filters the air.IMPORTANT: You can ONLY buy replacement filters on amazon. I wasn't able to find it on ANY other website, including the manufacture's website. Replacement filter cost $50!

Better than my old one
Don't go cheap like I did. My other air purifier that was smaller and cheaper (still a decent brand) did not do much for my tiny 150sq ft room. This one made it so that when the sun shines through, I can't even see the fuzzy stuff in the air. Helps my allergies too.
