Is it correct that the wheels will not move without the remote control?

The wheels will move when kids push/pull the vehicle. A remote control is only necessary if the child wants to remotely control the vehicle's movement, as opposed to moving it manually.

Are the wheels rubber or hard plastic? Can figures be placed inside (the door seems not to open)?

Hi, Regards from Germany. The wheels are hard plastic and the Figures can sit inside.

I purchased on December 11. No indication this toy would deliver AFTER Christmas. Now Amazon is telling me it o so likely to arrive Jan 5th or later?

You obviously bought it from one of those sellers that ship from overseas, usually the cheap knockout replica from China with lead paint and other "good" stuff. Why do you think there is a price difference to buy from us, VLC ONE, Inc., who are authorized Playmobil seller and import straight from Playmobil factory in Germany? All our Playmobil toys show on the box Made in Germany and we have them in stock here in Florida and also guarantee delivery before Christmas. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for and there nothing you can do on your existing order. If you order from us you'll get the stuff before Christmas. Good luck!

AFRICAN ADVENTURE AWAITS!

Flying over the African plains is the best in a Playmobil Beach Craft Safari plane. Exploring the jungles with your guide and documenting the last Elephants and Lions left in the wild on the Serengeti will be the adventure of a lifetime if you buy this Playmobil plane. *Easy Assembly *Really cool "extra" accessories. *Indiana Jones Hat *Gas Can is RAD. It's gonna take a lot to take me away from you There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had... We own tons of Playmobil and besides the police station, this cute little plane is our favorite.

Most fun zoo play set!

Absolutely love the jeep & all of the detail... the gas can, binoculars, canteen, and love that it came with TWO zoo workers. Grandson has had a ball with this set.

Love it!

My kindergartener assembled it by himself (super easy to assemble), it is a great gift especially if you have the zoo collection- great value!

Fun and easy to assemble!

Great toy! We ordered this for our 3, almost 4, son for Christmas and he loved it! He is a huge fan of lions and we knew he would really like it. Highly recommend for little ones for aren’t quite ready for a “real” Lego kit with lots of little pieces to build.

Very happy little Customer

My toddler absolutely loves this airplane. It is well built and he loves how there are two seats for his Playmobil guys, as well as a small luggage compartment in the back. This product is made in Germany - great quality at a very reasonable price.

Great quality, but I will only give it 3 ...

Great quality, but I will only give it 3 stars because I had NO IDEA the wheels of the vehicle do not move unless you PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY AND REMOTE WORTH MORE THAN 60 DOLLARS!! I only saw that "detail" once the package arrived. I love playmobil but this was very disappointed. What happened to regular manual toy you can push around? If I wanted an rc car I would have bought one...
