DanskinWomen's Essentials Bermuda Short

Comfortable shorts. I'm 5'5" 205lbs. Ordered 2X and they fit well.

Purchased 1X and generally wear XXL yoga pants or size 18 pants without any stretch. They do loosen up while wearing due to the bit of spandex in this material. I never use the drawstring so I either just tuck them inside my waist band or cut them off.These were my favourite when made with real jersey material and sold at Walmart. Unfortunately, that all changed over the past few years and now Danskin is using a cheaper material that doesn’t absorb as good as the original ones. They’re still a nice fit for casual shorts when going for walks, gardening or at the beach. Especially for us women with curvy bodies. So until I find another brand more similar to the Danskin originals, I’ll keep ordering these.

Fit as expected, good quality

Overall, these are very good shorts. I am 5’1 and 135lbs, the Large fits me well (was a tiny bit big, but shrunk in the wash). I got the black and they are 95% cotton, 5% spandex. They feel VERY soft and cottony.I really like the fabric, pockets and flattering look on my legs.I dislike that the model in the picture makes it look like these are low to medium rise waist, but they actually come fully up to my belly button (and the waistline is slightly narrower than the rest, indicating that this is the intended fit). I dislike high waisted things, but luckily this is still pretty comfortable and stretchy enough that I could wear it on my hips (it just wouldn’t look as flattering).
