Perfect Match!
I cannot tell you how thrilled I was with this product. I just moved into an apartment that was redone two years ago and had a brand new tub. The previous tenant left a chip the size of two quarters that was filled in with regular paint. It was chipped down to the black. I tried the rustoleum kit which was white--the tub was not. The tubs manufacturers sticker was left on the front of the tub so I was able to figure out that it was made by bootz. Their website recommended Porc-a-fix. I applied 3-4 coats and wet sanded with 600 grit wet sand paper in between each coat and allowed each coat to dry 24 hrs. at the end buffed with an old soft white t-shirt. I can't even see where the repair was! Buffing with the t-shirt brought the sheen up to the same shine as the surrounding porcelain! Beyond my expectations!

Worked well after a few attempts
We had a chip down to the metal on our Bootz tub, about the size of a pea. This product was mentioned on Bootz' website as being a color match for the white color used by Bootz. This repair kit came with very little and really poor instructions. It also included what I think is a fine-grit sandpaper. If you go the company's website, they have much more thorough instructions. There are also some helpful videos elsewhere if you search the web for porcelain chip repair. The included sandpaper is black and had the effect of turning the porcelain glaze black when I tried to sand it, per the instructions! So I had to scrape it off and start over. It took several coats, each with plenty of drying time in between, to bring the glaze up to the level of the original surface to fill my chip. Then I went to the hardware store and picked up some 220 grit sandpaper. Sanding it with that worked great. Now you can barely tell there was ever a chip.

This color is a light grey NOT white.
This color is a light grey NOT white and is a little watery... would take several light coats. American Standard white must be an "off" white color. My old Kitchen sink is white white.

Perfect for my sink repair
The perfect color for my sink which bubbled up after some hot water was poured directly on one spot.Cannot tell there the repair is now. Did not need an undercoat - just applied a first and then second coat and let it dry for a full 24-48 hrs. In total I kept it dry for about 3 days.

saved me from buying another tub.
Installed a new steel tub and accidentally, and chipped it installing the cement board tub surround with drill, about one inch of porcelain came off , this stuff is good, now no one can tell tub was damaged. Just follow the instructions, I used the filler first cause of the size of the chip.
