Great dye. Terrible gloves
I started to use this product when pregnant due to not having so many harsh chemicals. I use it to cover my grey and it lasts amazing it doesn’t wash out and only have to reapply due to growth. Great value for buying in bulk. I love the Color as it is quite natural. It doesn’t have such a strong smell as some as the other and I don’t get burning or anything to my head when I use. One bad bite is the gloves they come with are terrible and always end up with holes. Buy yourself a box of disposable gloves unless you don’t mind dying your fingers for a few days .

Vibrant color, no horrible smell
I've never done box hair dye; I've always paid someone a pretty penny at a salon to color my hair. After my expensive hand-painted highlights grew out and my brown roots were becoming noticeable, I decided that paying $500+ for a touch-up wasn't the best use of my money, and impulsively decided to dye my hair the darkest black I could find. I hate the smell of ammonia, so I decided to give this brand a try.I'm very happy with the results, and how dark black my hair came out. It's not brownish or grayish at all; it's a solid unambiguous black. I was hesitant to go so dark and thought I maybe should have tried brown-black or regular black before going all the way to blue-black, but I'm glad I trusted my impulse and went with the blue-black, because my hair looks fantastic. I've gotten so many compliments and it looks great with the colors of clothing and makeup I favor. Some of my friends that also have their hair very dark are amazed at how dark my hair turned out on the first application. The dye itself is just as quality as anything I've paid someone to use on me; I have no complaints. The smell isn't bad at all, and I had no itchiness for the 30-40 minutes I kept it on to process. It washes out pretty clear on the first wash, and I haven't had any stained towels or pillowcases like I did when I dyed my hair purple-red all the time. My hair is 2b curl type, coarse, and naturally very dry. I haven't detected any drying or additional hair loss from dye, so it's pretty gentle. It definitely stained my hairline, though, but that's to be expected. My hair is down to my lower back, so I had to use two whole boxes for the first application. Make sure you account for that when you dye! The dye mixed up pretty thick, so it was super easy to apply with a bowl and brush. Even with my hair length and thickness, it took less than an hour.Overall, 5/5 stars. I'll be doing my touchups with this; no need to look for a different brand.

Naturtint Hair Dye
6GA-This is the best hair dye hands down. It’s has no smell, my hair feels so soft and manageable and the color is perfect not a harsh brown or too red. It’s worth the money, scalp doesn't itch, it looks natural. I have already bought multiple boxes in case they go on back order, I will not use any other brand, and I have tried many. I have asthma and this doesnt bother me at all I really can’t detect any scent.

Covers grey without damaging hair
Covers my grey. Hair does not feel stiff or fried after use. Since it’s natural it only lasts about 4-5 weeks. My hair lightens naturally during the summer so it’s fairly easy to blend in. I’ve been using for several months now and I am extremely happy with the quality

Great Hair Product
This product works well for my hair color and is far less toxic than most hair dyes. The color is reliable and stable. It also leaves my hair feeling healthy.

Itch-free Alternative to the Market Leaders
I have been using Naturtint for 20-25 years, since I first found it at Whole Foods around 2000-2004? The leading commercial hair dye, as well as the ones used by professional hairstylists, were making my scalp itch a lot, so I knew there was a problem with them, likely an allergy that was getting worse. I switched to this product and have never looked back. I generally color my own hair to save money and time, but when I go to a hair salon, I take it with me and the stylists are happy to use it. I get compliments on the color (I actually mix 6N with 7N to match my natural color) including from hairstylists. The color lasts, my scalp doesn’t itch, the spillover dye washes off my face easily, the price is very competitive, its availability has been steady for 20 years, and the product is easy to use. As a bonus, it comes with a conditioner that I have found comparable to an Argan conditioner. Since I use two boxes a month, I never run out of free conditioner. Bottom line: this is the best hair color I have found for my needs so far. There are safety concerns with all hair dyes, though, so there is room for innovation in this product group.

Works great! No harsh smell!
I have been using this color for years! It doesn’t have any harsh, chemical smell. The color is true and lasts without any drastic fading. I love that I can continue to color my hair without being worried about chemicals.

Mess free and smell free!!
Pretty impressed with this haircolor! I will update my review in a few weeks once i see how long the color lasts. I am 42 and bought Fire Red. Have been box coloring my hair for several years of Red/Auburn. Started getting greys about 3 years ago. I lost a LOT of my hair after the first time I got Covid and decided to switch to ammonia-free haircolor and use more gentle products. I was concerned this color would be a little more vibrant than i wanted. I was very impressed with the lack of chemical smell of this haircolor and that it didnt make a mess like other brands do, plus i am a messy person and usually end up slinging haircolor everywhere, which stains my bathroom if im not careful. This did not irritate me at all. I have very long hair, which isnt as thick as it used to be, and only needed 1 box. I also used it on my eyebrows. It did not stain my bathtub like most red haircolor does. It was a little difficult to wash out i guess because it is more like a "gel". I do use shampoo to get the haircolor out. I always color my hair when its "dirty", so i just go ahead and wash it when i color it. It seemed very moisturizing and the red is a nice dark auburn, does not have the intensity I thought it would have. My greys seem to be covered up pretty well, as well as most ammonia-free haircolors are able to do anyway. Time will tell but i can see myself buying this again if it lasts. Also, the conditioner it comes with smells amazing!
