Yes, it's expensive. But so are all the docks with 4 screens and dual ports for each of them. This actually seems to fall on the lower end of quad docks.This has worked perfectly for me every time, both with a laptop and a PC. Make sure you get a good quality USB-C cable if you need extras.

Worked well for 3 extended screens, both for PC and Mac.For Mac, DisplayLink needs to be downloaded. Believe this is always the case as Mac only seem to work with one extended screen without DisplayLink.I sent it back as I realised I didn't need this docking station if only have 3 extended screens.I managed to get Lenovo ThinkPad (Generation 1 I believe which only support two extra screens) to work with Mac (when DisplayLink is downloaded) to extend 2 screen, and then the 3rd screen connected directly with a HDMI cable to MacBook (for Mac need an HDMI to USB-C adapter) . Similar connection with the Lenovo laptop but the HDMI cable straight into the laptop.The only difference is that I now need two cables into the laptop/macbook instead of one cable if I use this docking station.I would buy this product again however if I need 4 extended screens.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 15 and have recently had a pair of monitors given to me by a family member, i found my supports and then found out that i really needed a way to correctly split the image for dual monitors, so whilst at it i though i would get a full dock for my laptop to avoid lots of individual cables having to be connected every time i need to set my laptop up. After a bit of testing there doesn't appear to be any loss in image quality nor any loss in speed on any of the ports, it's a very clean compact unit that just dissapears onto the desk to be forgotten and only remembered if you need to add in any additional devices. After installing the DisplayLink driver software on my M1 Mac Mini, the Quad Docking station worked perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Product doesn't work with a DELL Latitude 5400, Power Delivery works including Network but no display output, though my laptop works with DELL docks, just not this one.

The device is nice, heavy and has the right amount of HDMI ports for my setup. However, The device gets hot, and has stopped charging the laptop(s) despite casting to all 4 screens. I have another in my basket at the moment, as I am about to return this one as a defective unit.Not overly happy given the expense of the unit

Because this device requires up-to-date device drivers, every time you update your Mac OS you need new drivers from DisplayLink. I have two problems with this: 1) They're always *way* behind the latest version, so you have to hold back and wait. 2) When DisplayLink stops updating their drivers (and they will, when they want you to buy their next shiny product) this product effectively becomes extinct. It's an expensive accessory to become extinct.Once installed, this is a nice unit. Sturdy build, connects everything with one cable, supports 2x 4k 60Hz without problems.I do however have a concern about how hot it runs. When you remove a USB connector it is almost too hot to touch.

I tried a number of docks including this before finding an Anker one which worked with my new MacBook Pro. Couldn’t get a useable resolution out of this one, which was similar to the Lenovo one I tried. Anything in between 4K and 1080p was horrible.
