Blocks sound for few days, painful when worn within 10 mins
Placement of the buds are important to block noise, if not inserted deeply into the ear it won't block noises that much. I am a light sleeper it has helped a lot but wearing it everyday is painful this is yet not the perfect bud, but yea definitely 5x times better than the 3M one. The skin inside the ear get scratched and eventually hurts after 4-5 days of using the bud, because this isn't a very soft bud it's ends are hard which hurts when applied. But if if applied in a right manner this won't hurt and block noises. You just have to figure out how - which is annoying.

Not extra soft at all
These are decent ear plugs but not very soft at all. They are not suitable for long time wear especially all night wear... But great for loud spaces for short time wear.
