[LEZHIN] Point Character Drawing [paperback]

I bought this for my teenager that is very in to art right now and he loves it. He uses the books regularly and it has really improved his drawing skills. Even though it is in Korean, some of it is translated to English. I've looked at it myself and it looks easy to follow and it covers everything. Definitely worth the money, cheaper than actual art classes and more useful imo.

I’m only 19 pages in and this has corrected many years of bad habits from self teaching anatomy and misunderstanding the anatomy books I have. 6 pages in and the simple drawings and minimal words make it easy to read and understand anatomy. It get straight to the key elements needed to draw people. I’m so glad I bought this book, this will definitely help me on my journey as an artist!!!

Really nice book to do some practices and learn good tips, really recommended for intermediate to advanced artists

Ive followed taco on Instagram for years and I love their stuff. The moment I found out they had books, I immediately bought them. The contents are exactly what's on their Instagram just composed into two books. The tips are really useful and is drawn in a way easy to understand. For those who don't know korean, dont worry, there are translations (which Isn't on their insta). And for those learning korean, here's a great opportunity to practice! It is slightly stylized but could still be applied to realism. Yes, you can see all this for free on Instagram, but if you love figure drawing, its so worth it!

I saw this book a couple of months ago at some sites as an ad (Pinterests and Instagram) and in YouTube recommendations from content creators. And since then I've been meaning to get my hands on it. To my surprise, it was a set of two books! I didn't realized about it until I read it in the product reviews pointing it out. Its such a treat of content. As in the title of my review, the anatomy is simplified to the point that its approacheable to study from it. Everything is broken down in easy to follow illustrations. So far, this two book series are a must have for beginner artists and seasoned veterans can benefit from it, too. 2D animators could benefit the most from it. I'm satisfied with the product. 10/10

It’s in Korean, but all translated to english apart from the prologues and intro’s which aren’t that necessary. But this is so good, has helped a lot, two books, two parts. All absolutely helpful in so many ways. Get this, and you won’t have to get another anatomy book ever again.

Ugh oh my GODDDD. This is a MUST to learning human anatomy. Everything about this is beautiful. It shows raw human anatomy when it comes to bones, muscles, and overall how our body poses. A tip for beginners getting this book is practice each pose/ body part, then draw any character you want to with it! Make it fun. It’s an incredible book. The subjects it goes over is the body, (upper body, neck, shoulders, chest, armpit, abdominal muscles, side view, rear view, arms, hands, flow which is how a body stands naturally in poses. Lower body, pelvis, hips, legs, feet, point drawing for body.) point drawing is like 3/4’s of a face or half a face and what it looks like. (More detail of Arm, neck, wrist, and hand). THAT’S ONLE IN THE FIRST BOOK! The second book contains detail on face anatomy, (head, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, chin, neck) and more detail of the legs, (thighs, knees, ankles, feet, and point drawing for legs. And illustrations w humans). Get this ASAP. Also, delivery was fast and safe. Everything came in perfect condition. And each description is in English as well as Korean I think :), you won’t be left in the dark as long as you know one of those languages. My package arrived 1-2 days after I orders it. It’s pretty much next day shipping. Also, I reviewed this because I genuinely appreciate the simplicity, and wide variety of anatomy learning given in this book. I couldn’t be more pleased with these reference books! There are two volumes and they cover a verity of different possess, perspectives, and other character drawing situations (including a page dedicated to approaching drawing glasses on the face). If you’re looking for a physical copy version of all those Pinterest reference compilations that you can’t seem to find again, look no further! As someone who often struggles with perspective poses, certain anatomy sections (“where does the nose go on a side profile again?”), and sometimes gets burned out not knowing where to start, I can tell that these books will help a lot! They break things down very simply and that just helps to know you’ll likely find what you need when it comes to simple reference for character designing. I will say, if you’re looking for a book to explain these approaches in detail, this may not be the book for you. They have the books written very simply in Korean and English, but very little text means that there’s plenty of room for the pictures. All told, great size books and I can tell they’ll be a timeless resource for any artist wanting to improve their people drawing skills from a basic level.

I've owned many, many art books in my career. I've been a big fan of the Propic X Taco tutorials for years and was thrilled to grab this set. I must say, it's by far the best art books i've ever gotten. They come in a set of two, one focusing on the body and it's anatomy and poses and the other on the head, legs and feet. I found it interesting how one book focuses on anatomy but the other book touches more on the legs and feet. Regardless, the layout of the book is interesting too, the first book goes over each point of the body, from the shoulders moving down the torso, arms and hands. There are sets of descriptions in both Korean and English with each illustration. Though there is a slight language barrier on the translation, I found it easy to understand just by going along with the illustration and drawing them out myself as practice. Brushing up on my anatomy with these books by practicing a few pages a day made my drawings so much better. The illustrations are sometimes depicted in an 'anime like' style, but they can easily be translated into different styles. The illustrations are very simple to understand with the iconic 'Taco yellow highlight' to show the area of interest than other anatomy books that ramble on and on about the muscles when you just want to study the drawing, which is already drawn so complicated. This is the opposite. I highly recommend this book if you wish to understand or explore different areas of anatomy that you may not see in traditional books, such as how the body appears in various poses and angles. The book itself is light and convenient in size and easy to flip through. I keep them near my desk at all times as I can grab them whenever I need them. I wouldn't recommend this book enough to anyone wanting to study anatomy more!

👍 Muy buenos libros, con buen gramaje de hoja, portada y hojas texturizadas, impresion detallada, clara y a color, no son fotocopias, son originales ya que el código de ISBN es el mismo que el de su página oficial, y los dibujos tal cuál lo esperado. Solo son más pequeños de lo que imaginaba, pero no me parece un problema, pues de esta forma son más fáciles de transportar. 👎 Pero... Vienen golpeados de los bordes y de las portadas (ver imágen), y esto es probablemente, porque deben de pasar por varios puntos, con diferentes transportistas antes de llegar a su destino; no afecta su contenido, pero en lo personal me entristece un poco, sin embargo no dejan de ser maravillosos y útiles, sobre todo al gran descuento que obtuve por ellos ($25 dlls).
