I purchased a new Computer to allow streaming to a TV and Amplifier configuration. Sometimes the required cables are special to accommodate the interconnection. I found this cable allowed me to connect the Motherboard Sound output of the computer to my Receiver (Denon) in this case. This cable worked perfectly, no scatching noise (sounds great). Excellent quality and worked like a charm. Highly recommended.

Works as expected.. except the L/R channels were swapped. Easy fix by just plugging red to white and white red instead of color to matching color on AV receiver. Would’ve gotten 5 stars except for that.

I'm using this cable to connect my beloved All-New Echo Dot (2nd Generation) - White with my old-fashioned stereo receiver, which is connected to two passive speakers (left and right channels), and it works perfectly. The sound is clear with virtually no interference, and the stereo quality and separation is very good. I'm so glad I kept that 20-year-old receiver - who would have thought! As others have reported, the Dot does not work with some 3.5mm/RCA cables. When I first tried connecting the Dot with my receiver via an iPhone-compatible cable I had lying around, and then with several different headphones, it would only play in monotone, despite my many troubleshooting attempts. Meanwhile the cable worked perfectly well, using the exact same setup, with my iPhone/dock (i.e., my iPhone played in stereo through both speakers, when I switched out the Dot for the iPhone/dock and kept everything else the same). Via Google, I learned that many others had experienced the same, and those who finally got the Echo to play properly in stereo had to switch out cables. It turns out that some cables aren't physically compatible with the Dot, with the plug somehow not making full contact, even when you've pushed it in as far as it'll go. I typically don't like giving 5-star reviews for items that are more prone to breakage or performance deterioration over time, when I haven't had enough time to test for durability, but in this case I'm so thrilled the cable works perfectly with my Dot, after many frustrating hours of trying to get other cables to work, that I couldn't help myself! My expectations might have been a tad low, as an Amazon Alexa customer service rep actually stated via an hour-long chat that the Echo doesn't play in stereo (?!). Oh, and the cable itself looks decently made and has a slender profile, which is great for saving space. The connectors are secure but not overly tight, and the cable is pliable. It's not super heavy duty though.

Works perfectly to play music or audiobooks from my phone to my old "boombox" stereo system. The length of the cord allows me to conveniently plug in my phone at the kitchen table. The plug fits very securely in the phone (a problem with some other cables). The music plays clearly out of both speakers with no static or distortion. With my old cable, only one speaker was working, and after trouble-shooting (switching prongs in the back, causing the sound to switch to the seemingly dead speaker) I determined the problem was my old cable not the speaker. This new cable fixed the problem.

Outstanding quality from AmazonBasics. These cables are built very well and feel premium. The outer rubber coating is soft-touch yet tough. It has been stomped on by audience and musicians but survived. It is not built for massive torture but it can survive an occasional stomp / bend. It did not pick up any electronic noise from all the other cables and electronics lying around it.
