Did the job! My shoes are now waterproof again and the holes are strongly bonded closed. It looks fine and is not that noticeable. A+ for functionality. Seems durable, but hasn't been long enough to tell yet.

Works well. Careful though or you'll glue your boot to the floor.. not that I did because I didn't.

I have been using this adhesive on a pair of wading boots I have had for years. The sole keeps separating from the boot in different places. Using Boot Bond to make repairs has enabled me to get more than 2 years of additional use out of the boots. Additionally, while I have had to make multiple repairs, it seems the areas I repaired with Boot Bond continue to hold and that it is untreated areas where the suspect quality of the boots is allowing for continual failures. Will replace the boots soon, but Boot Bond has kept them going for quite a while at afraction of the prices of a new pair.

Honestly, I was excited because all of the positive reviews. Unfortunately it lasted all but a day, I’m a dump truck driver class A, I do lots of kicking tires, muddy truck yards, construction sites.The glue broke down, cracked and boots were back to talking to me in no-time.Danner Boots

I glued the soles back on my muck boots, so far it's been holding for months with no problems. I'm busy every day all over the barn and pasture. I've never seen anything work this well, it's beyond great.

The stitching wore out on this "overlap" seam on an old pair of work boots. Great boots that I ware a lot. Would cost a lot of $$ to have it fixed by a boot cobbler. Figured it was worth spending $10 to see if it works, stands the test of time. Glued the seam in May. Wore them off and on all summer doing various outdoor stuff. That seem is in a place that is subjected to a lot of "forces", pulling etc. 5+ months later it is still sealed tight. Very impressed. For kicks and giggles I glued the sole back on to an old pare of sneakers. More then half it on both pairs were flapping. Wasn't sure if it would work because I was gluing the soles to the cloth underside of the sneakers. Months later lots of use in my gardens still holding.This stuff is perfect to glue the rubber toe back on sneakers etc. Works great gluing leather soles that have pulled away when the stitching has worn through. Use it on some of my leather horse tac.In short I highly recommend this product. I bought more to keep on hand. Strong glue, that I am sure can be used on other things then leather.
