Great little drone for fun and practice.
The media could not be loaded. This mini drone from Holy Stone is very responsive and full of features. It is perfect, for kids, beginners, and anyone who just wants to have fun. I highly recommend it! It is also useful for practicing your flying skills, both indoors and outdoors. It does not take a relatively long time to charge (roughly 30 minutes) via USB or from the transmitter and gives you 5-8 minutes of flying time. It has several colored LEDs on the drone body and a bright white LED in the front, which look cool and also provide a method of tracking the drone and its orientation. It has three speeds from which to choose. All of the features worked great from the start. The One Key Take-off and Landing functions performed well. The Altitude Hold function worked pretty good, but the performance was improved even more by using the Trimmers buttons (as described in the user manual). The High Speed Rotation and Flip Mode are fun to try and watch. The One Key Return worked as described in the manual, but you do need to be aware of the drones’ position relative to you and the transmitter. Headless Mode allows you to control the drone relative to the transmitter so you do not have to be concerned about keeping the head of the drone facing away from you. I actually was surprised at the quality of the instruction manual and would recommend taking 5-10 minutes going through it before flying the drone. It will save you time and make the whole experience even more enjoyable (especially if you are a beginner or novice). The HS190 has been resilient and sturdy so far. We have run into several items and crashed at least a few times with no ill effects (the propeller guards were attached). Since the drone arms do fold, make sure you check and put them back in place after a crash. As for drawbacks of this drone, it's difficult to find any considering the functions and the price. It does take a little time to become acquainted with all the little buttons on the transmitter/controller. It would be nice if they were labeled, but that probably would not be practical for a drone of this size and price point. The manual says to be careful of over-charging the battery and recommends unplugging the charging cable once the battery is fully charged (LED on cable turns off when completed). We did not notice this in the manual at first and charged it for a much greater time. Fortunately, there were no problems afterward, but it is something to keep in mind.Overall, this has been a fantastic little drone thus far. I have not required any support from Holy Stone for this HS190, but response to inquiries and questions about their other products has been exceptional. Their customer support is top notch and you will see that throughout other reviews as well.

Great!
This has been a great little drone for my 7 yr old grandson. He easily learned how to fly it and do the cool tricks. We love the small size and how it neatly folds & fits into the remote for storage. He’s had it for a few weeks now and uses it often, and it has been very durable. Great buy!

Great little beginner drone
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little drone for beginners or anyone really. This has some nice features for something so small and inexpensive. Let's start with the only negative I found. The not great: Charging through the remote never showed that it funny charged. The light always stayed the same even after over an hr and a half. I unplugged it and it flew for a solid 5+min so I'm guessing it charged even though it didn't show that.***UPDATE- It finally charged through the remote, it just took a good two hrs+ I'm sure it's always going to take a while since it's charging off of AAA batteries. That's all I found not great, not negative, just not great. The good: Easy to learn-nice features- responsive-just plain fun to fly around the house. It has 3 speeds, the default speed is the slowest and easiest. The fast is pretty quick and you need to pay attention, surprising for it's size but still fun. Auto take off and landing worked perfect and on landing you can still control the direction of the drone. The drone held it's position well after take off once it was trimmed. The spinning feature seems gimmicky but kids would love it. The flips were fast and tight and worked great in all directions. The trim settings work good. I only had one experience where I needed more right trim but it apparently maxed out before I could get it as still as I wanted. It was still easily managed without full trim. I trimmed it at the beginning of every flight and I recommend you do too, it only takes a few seconds. Flying outside isn't something you can or should do unless there is ZERO wind, even airflow in your house will move it around, it's that light. The controller: I already mentioned the charging issue. I should mention that at no time did the drone feel hot during the charging with the controller or through a usb port. I like that the drone fits in the controller, it makes it easy to carry around and perfect for a kid who could possibly end up sitting on it. Arming the drone and props was simple and worked perfectly. It feels a bit, how do I say it, low budget? Well it is but it still felt solid enough. The controls are easy to use and the buttons were easy to find without taking your eyes off the drone, just familiarize yourself with them before flying for the first time. All in all it's well worth it's price. I knew it was small before I received it but was surprised just how small it really was. Happy flying!

Fun, At an affordable cost
This little drone is fun and is great practice for me to learn how properly control a drone. I initially brought this drone so I could learn how to control a real up scale drone. After I had this drone for a week I can say that it is awesome. I can use this drone anywhere around my house and crash it into walls and it turns out fine. This Drone is the shit and I would buy again.
