I've only had it a couple of days, but I really like this Alta band. Although I have loved the colorful bands I have bought previously, they haven't held up that great, so I decided to go with a metal band to see how it holds up. I really love the magnet that makes the band so easy to adjust. Thank you for a beautiful and functional product!

I like the looks of the band but magnet does not hold tight.

I really like this band which is why I'm giving it a second try. I've only worn it for a week or so, and a link on the very outer edge of the mesh broke, right in the spot where the band loops over the bar where you adjust the length. In the picture, you can see the tiny piece of metal/wire sticking up, right at the crease, which is usually over the small bar (that's why it's creased). I hope it's not a design flaw, because it's easy to put on and it looks nice. Crossing fingers on the replacement.

Band looks beautiful, is well made, and it was easy to replace the old band. Would buy again, and I have recommended it to friends.

This mesh band might fit on women and a child's wrist with small hands. MAYBE. If you are a normal size man, good luck trying to slide the Alta HR over your hand even with this mesh band extended all the way. It looks like it might close once past the hand, but I CANNOT slide this band over my hand!I do have large hands, but not abnormally large. If the band was about 1 to 1-1/2" longer it would probably work for me. MAYBE? I do like the quality, although the magnetic closure is a little weak. I imagine it may not stay tight on your wrist?It's going in the trash!I can't seem to find LARGE metal bands for the Fitbit Alta HR. Is the Alta mainly used by women?

looks nice but magnet sometimes comes loose and tracker almost falls off.

If it held together longer, I could’ve looked past the fact that (as other reviews have mentioned) it will snag on all your clothes and pull on threads. I bought this because I didn’t want another plastic one, but its construction clearly was too flimsy.
