I needed something to attach a propane water heater to a metal pool ladder. We have an above ground pool that we put up in the summer. If the weather drops down too much at night, it’s too cold for my kids. I bought a water heater, that needs to be hung up. I couldn’t use regularly zap straps, because they could melt. These worked perfectly. I like that you can remove them, if they are not in the correct spot. They were outside for several months, and there was no sign of rust on any of them. I found the best tool to cut off the long ends, was to use my ER scissors that nurses and paramedics use to cut off patients’ clothings.

I used this product to attach a trellis to my front porch and it is very easy to use with the tool. Very secure and will work much better than the plastic ties which do not hold up in the outside/weather.

Not that much more expensive than plastic zip ties, but these don't weather and fail. A bit challenging to cut off the tail, but otherwise these are the bomb. Not sure I'll ever buy plastic zip ties for outdoor use again.
