The order to pair angels and demons are just awesome. Everybody deserves a happy ending.I was just too excited to read this book to see how they wove their love story. And chemistry of lucifer couple is out of tge worl. To be frank i just want to know their story only, but yeah....lets be real without reading all the other books ill be lost 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

I love books about angels and demons! But angels and demons together loving on each other... even better. I am a bit biased as Lisa Oliver is one of my favorite authors but still this was awesome! As they say - opposites attract and what can be more opposite than light and darkness.Raziel is the angel of mysteries. I liked how human he seemed despite him having special powers. He still had a job even though he did not need it and as he said - it allowed him to connect with humans. I loved his kindness, how selfless he was. And after he receives an order to mate with Botis the demon he is just so adorably pissed off! He is a very positive character and also very accepting especially when Botis keeps messing up all the time, he still cares for him and gives him another chance.Botis is a demon who can take a shape of a viper. He always knew that he'd be alone and he was fine with that. I mean with the way things are in the Underworld he can't exactly be faithful what with constant orgies going on! He is selfish and tries to deny the mating with Raziel but when he can't even lie to him he understands that he has no choice but to try. He makes a hash of it. Some of it funny and some through no fault of his own. But when they finally get together they light the sheets on fire. The sweet moments between them are touching considering that Botis didn't think he had it in him to be sweet he seems to get the hang of it.The ending was a little anticlimactic and I wished there was a little more and that the villain was someone else but it was what it was. Not that it was bad but just not how I wanted the book to end. And Lucifer was one annoying little sh*t! Wanted to smack him all the time! Anyway, still and awesome read. So I highly recommend it!

This book was a lot different to what I'm used to reading by this author, which I think is great because it shows the author has versatility in her writing style.I really liked the authors take on angels and demons, and the reason for why they do what they do. The angels and demons were kind of the opposite to what you'd expect of them. Which, for me, is a big plus when reading books.He wasn't the MC, but Lucifer is my favourite character. I love that he makes all the reasonable decisions in the book and Gabriel doesn't.I can't wait for the rest of the books in this series, I no that they're going to be great!

At first I wasn't sure how this story was going to go but gradually it captivated me . I feel this series is going to be very captivating and can't wait to read the next in the series. Love it

Looks like the beginning's of another great series from Lisa oliver. When good and evil get together, it make's for an exciting read.

When I read the overview of the book I knew it was likely to be an amazing book and a chances have new author whose books I love to read. Then I noticed only some the books in this series or kindle unlimited books but I was already captivated by the story line so I knew would not resist reading it. I am glad I did. Raz and his viper demon are amazing and funny to read and I more then glad waited till I money saved to buy all the books as can't wait to meat the reast of mates in the balance books.
