I ordered this back in December and wanted to use it for awhile so I could give a real honest review of this product. It arrived promptly, actually a day before it was supposed to be delivered and the little seed they added for you to plant was a nice touch. So after using this product for about 3 months all I can say is I love it !!!! I had contracted Covid Sept of 2021 and a couple months later my hair started falling out, like scary falling out and my scalp was very dry. i was looking to try something new and that was made out of natural ingredients and I found this on Amazon. I like the smell and it has a nice creamy texture. It's very soothing on my scalp and since using it my scalp isn't dry and my hair stopped falling out but for a few strands instead of a whole handful... my hair is super soft and feels like hair again, not straw.... I can't say enough about how much this conditioner has changed my hair. I highly recommend it !!!

Hi have color and heat treated hair. Typically the day I wash my hair it is dry and frizzy and the next day it is oily. So I have to wash my hair everyday. This product did everything it said it would. My hair was soft and smooth all day long. It felt nice to use such a pure product. It is a bit pricey for the amount you get but I would buy it again because of how nice it made my hair. Also the lavender scent is really strong. You must like lavender otherwise it would drive you nuts because you will smell it on your hair all day long.

Heat was drying out my waves and I needed a conditioner to retain some moisture. I used this ONE TIME and the bounce returned. I still need something else to keep the waves around for the whole day but I was so impressed with what this argan conditioner did for my hair with just one use. Outstanding. I’m sensitive to smells and love the peppermint. I also like Tree to Tub’s unscented face wash. Great products.

Let me start off by saying that I really like the products this brand has to offer,(foaming face soap being my favorite) so I was really excited to try this out. I have oily hair and it's hard to find products that work. The initial experience was good- it smells like fresh mint, no chemical smells. It smells like the mint face wash. As soon as I put it in my hair, I felt my hair get really soft and smooth. All tangles gone in 10 seconds!! But then my hair got oily. At first I didn't realize it was because of this conditioner but then I tried using it/ not using it/ using it, etc. and determined that I was a no go. Very disappointing!! I then tried it out on my daughter who has tangly but not oily hair and it's perfect. So hence the 4 stars- fantastic product, not for oily hair. As a note for any new users, because this product only has natural scent in it, you won't have a persisting smell like you would if you were using regular conditioner. This doesn't bother me at all; on the contrary it makes me appreciate that there is no preservative-type thing in there.

What “sold” me on this product was when the lady who cuts my hair, and has for close to 10 years now, noticed that my hair looked better and felt softer. I’m a guy who has thick hair anyway and I don’t go often for haircuts it’s usually when it’s “bad” that I go to see my stylist, but having super thick hair that’s still feeling soft is awesome. I highly recommend this product as it doesn’t smell like a “fru fru” conditioner and is making a huge difference in my hair/skin. I found this company because I have psoriasis and kept trying different soaps to find one that would perhaps make a difference in my skin, I have found this in Tree to Tub and will never go back. Yes it’s more expensive but for all the reasons they list it is worth it plus it’s helping my skin which is something I’ve been battling for 15 years.

I’m Caucasian with fine hair that has a natural wave to it. It’s not curly but if I don’t blow dry it straight it looks like I have a bit of a 1980s loose spiral perm. My hair is oily at the roots but the rest of my hair is normal to dry. I have started to get a few gray hairs so I color my roots only with a Madison Reed color kit about every 6-7 weeks. It does not damage my hair though. My hair tends to tangle when I wash it (which I do daily) regardless of what conditioner I use but some conditioners make the issue worse than others. The problem is that when I use conditioners that tend to make my wet hair tangle the least I get buildup which then makes my hair almost stick/clump together (like it’s dirty) when it’s dry (dry as in not wet.) I have read this issue is because those type of conditions have protein in them and that causes buildup. I spend a lot of time in Europe and a Swiss/Austrian version of L’Oréal elvive does not cause that issue for my hair in spite of leaving my wet hair fairly tangle free. The closest thing I can find in the US to that product is L’Oréal Elvive extraordinary oil for very dry hair (purple maroon bottom) but even that tends to clump my hair if I use it for more than a few days at a time. I suppose ingredients in products differ between the US and Europe. Because of that I was looking for a protein free hair conditioner to use so I could alternate between it and the L’Oréal conditioner. This conditioner was on an internet list for protein free conditioners (I have no idea if it’s actually protein free or not) so I decided to give it a try. I won’t buy it again because it makes my hair incredibly tangled when it’s wet. It does not however make my hair clumpy when it’s dry though like protein conditioners do because they cause buildup. It actually leaves my hair fairly soft once it’s dry. The tangling when it’s wet is too much for me though. On another note, I saw another review where someone said the pump on the bottle didn't work. I couldn’t get mine to work either so I switched out the pump. It still wouldn’t work. I added some water to the conditioner though (it’s incredibly thick) and stirred it up and that allowed it to freely come out of the pump. So, if you think your pump isn’t working try adding a little water to the bottle and stir. That may help.

Have been on the hunt for new shampoo and conditioner after covid put my previous brand out of business. This has always been a chore for me...finding something that works for both my 3b\3c curly hair and my sensitive scalp and eczema. Once I find something, I stick with it til they eventually change formulas or quit making it. I had high hopes for this one, especially for my sensitive scalp. I purchased their fragrance free soapbark shampoo and this argan oil conditioner, even though it had a peppermint fragrance and I was trying to avoid fragrance. I used to use a product with peppermint that didn't seem to irritate my scalp, so thought this would be ok. My hair is long (waist length), curly, fine, and dense, and tends to dry out, especially at the ends. I have been using sulfate free shampoos for a while, so was used to low suds, but the shampoo left my hair feeling stripped and a horrible tangled mess. This conditioner did not help put any moisture back into my hair or help with tangles. I ended up having to pull out my summer time detangling spray and spent a good amount of time working the knots out of my hair. I have NEVER used a product that left my hair in this state. I have the detangling spray for the sun protection it provides in summer, I didn't even have it for use as a detangling spray! To top it off, my scalp itched like mad and I ended up with a huge flaky rash. It also fried my ends which had been in good condition before trying this product. Hair care is such an individual thing and everyone's hair and scalp are different. These products may work for some people, but did not work for me at all and I gave them away.

I must admit I was a little put off by the size of the bottle you get for the price... At first! But oh my God it is so WORTH THE MONEY!!! I have the worst hair, it is dry, frizzy, curly, AND thick and I literally tried dozens of products that did absolutely nothing for my hair. It got so bad that, just having my hair in a bun for a day, it would basically become 1 giant dredlock that I would spend over an hour trying to comb out and would sometimes have to rip my own hair to get it untangled. The first time I used this product it only took 30 mins to comb through and since then I have been able to comb through my hair with ease. Even when it is dry I can still brush my hair way easier and I'm no longer ripping anything. It also smells great, I like to wash my hair after I get home from work because the scent helps my relax a little better after a long day. I will definitely be reordering this product and I highly recommend it to anyone that is losing a hair war like I was.
