A RAW/BARF dog feeders dream!
This meat grinder arrived after only 48 hours of it being ordered - not bad considering I ordered it in mid-late December! I thought the Christmas rush would mean a long delay on it, but it didn't, so I was extremely pleased with this.I had spent hours researching what grinder to buy in order to grind up bones and sinue for my dog who is on a RAW/BARF diet. Alot of my friends who feed RAW just throw their dogs whole raw lamb bones and chicken bones, and their dogs deal with them. However, no matter how hard I tried I could not get comfortable with this for my rough collie puppy who is an absolute guzzler when it comes to food - I truly thought he was going to choke himself to death, and would find myself in a nervous state of fear and panic whenever I gave him whole raw bones. This is not easy when 10% of your dogs diet should be made up of bone! Many of the grinders that were reccommended were in America and cost around £250! Then I had the added concern that if I ordered one of these the plug would be wrong and I would then need an adapter for a British socket, also there would be import taxes I needed to pay. So I continued to research and finally bought this one ....This grinder is heavy duty and feels like a very good quality product when you pick it up and examine its parts. It is 2000w and 2.6 horse power, which is the exact spec recommended for grinding up small ish and soft (lamb, chicken, poultry, duck, fish) bones. At only £50 with free delivery I couldn't believe my luck.It is easy to set up and easy to use. It comes with 3 blades - ALWAYS use the blade with the biggest holes for any boney product otherwise you could kill your grinder!Obviously it always says on any instruction manual of any grinder not to grind bone and sinue, but I had come to the conclusion that if the grinder couldn't do it and it damaged it then at least it was only £50 I had lost and not £250! It was worth it not to break into a fearful cold sweat 3 x per week every week for the next 14 years, when my dog was due his bone based meal!It went through chicken bones like they were butter. It didn't even notice that they were there. Then I chopped up my meaty/sinuey lamb rib bones and fed those into it and it had no problem with them whatsoever. If you want to feed your dog a RAW/BARF diet and do not want to give them whole raw bones (because like me it scares you to death) then this is the grinder for you. It is a bargain and a powerful machine. Just make sure you use the largest blade and that you use a meat cleaver to hack the meaty bones up into small ish bits before you feed them into the grinder. It has a reverse function in case it does block and a 'half speed' function if you are grinding something larger and need it to do it more slowly.I am over the moon with this product. My one and only tiny gripe is that there are some pretty huge spelling mistakes on the instructions which initially made me dubious and made me feel like potentially it was a dodgy item. But that is not the case at all. Buy this grinder if you need it to RAW feed. Its amazing!

Great kitchen gadget
Brilliant piece of kitchen kit. Powerful motor does a great job, especially the chopping attachment. Very reasonably priced given the quality.

Lovely set
I've been splurging on kitchen gadgets lately to match my red kitchen - our old hand blender had definitely seen better days; half the bits are missing & it started to make a funny noise I think it was going to die soon... This one seems great, it looks really smart, its way quieter than my old one, does everything I need it to & I'm hoping it will last me as many years as the last one!

Good quality
Well made and resilient. Every attachment on this device is robust, the only criticism would be the drive gears are plastic and likely to be a weakpoint but fine so far.. For the price, compared to more expensive mainstream brand devices of which we have had several, this is far better value.

High power, good value .
I needed to replace a broken one - the high power hand blenders in the shops are really expensive. This was so much cheaper I was sceptical but it’s really good. I’m pleased with the quality - all the bits go in the dishwasher. And it has plenty of power.
