Buy it! I was having trouble with my hands falling asleep because I got in the habit of reading my iPad for hours while laying in bed. The Product description on Amazon is very accurate and truthful. I spent quite some time reading the reviews of many if not all similar products on Amazon and settled on this Universal Swingholder. I am very happy with the sturdy construction and custom designed components. No cheap junk here! I assembled it and placed it beside my bed. I quickly realized that the unit was too low (or more accurately my bed is too high - 29" without a box spring) so I set it on a 6" high base - problem solved. The 6" higher base also raised the unit enough so it did not knock all my belongings off the night stand. I contacted the manufacturer and as stated in many reviews, I had a quick and helpful response from the owner of the company. I understand that they are continuously working on improvements to their units and one of the requests (not just from me) is for a taller and longer arm unit.
