Great boot for the money. Landscaping hiking hunting fishing
So I really put them what I think is the ringer this weekend. It was cold rainy and muddy, I had to cut down several trees in the wooded area behind my house. These are the perfect boots, not only were they warm, but they are 100% waterproof. Even when I was done working I was able to hose them off and my feet still stayed dry. Pretty incredible for a pair of laced boots. Usually water slides in under the laces. Right out of the box they fit great. They were very comfortable. The anti fatigue memory foam is very pleasant on the bottom of my foot. The extra wide is plenty of room for my foot. The only con I have is that my Achilles area on the back of my ankle on both kind of got irritated by the back of the boot. Now that could be because I ordered them maybe a 1/2 size too small or it could be that I didn’t break them in. I literally took them out of the box and wore them 8+ hours working in the yard. In the cooler temps my feet were very happy. I can see in the summer 90° heat they may get a little on the warm side and cause my feet to sweat, but without it being those temps right now I cannot verify. For landscaping work, outdoor work, hunting or fishing, I will be 100% recommending these boots. Today I put a couple of bandaids on the back of my ankle and wore them to the garbage dump and even grocery shopping. They were good, didn’t hurt my feet and I probably walked 2-4 miles in them. For the price of these boots you can’t go wrong. I’ve had red wings, rockys, wolverines, and timberlands, and these by far are the best most comfortable boots. I will be using these a lot. The stiching seems on par with the more expensive boots. They seem like they should stand the test of time, even the laces seem thicker and they won’t snap as quick.

The best
I have bought these in the past. Thought I’d try other brands, that was a very ill informed decision. In under a year I have used Reebok, New Balance, Keen and they are basically destroyed. However my Rock Rooster boots have lasted over a year and a half, and I still use them around the house. I just bought another pair, and these boots are THE BEST BOOTS I have owned hands down. Comfortable , good looking and long lasting. Just great.

Not perfect but pretty good
Out of the box most comfortable boots I've ever owned. They have the best insole of any boot I've ever had. This review is about 4 months of daily use at work. I abuse boots more then most people. I work in NYC for the major utility company. My job has me breaking and digging holes in the street everyday sometimes multiple times a day. On average I go through 2 to 3 pairs of boots a year. These seem decent and expect to get a good 6 months out of them. They do have couple small things I don't care for. They seem big ,not that the size is big more that they seem like they are large on the OUTSIDE. Also they get rocks in the tongues where the laces go through (see pics) also as with any leather boot if your standing in water all day (and sometimes I do) they are NOT 100% waterproof. Being composite toe is awesome because once my feet get cold I'm pretty much done when it comes to working in the cold. Over all quality and price I'm pretty happy and thinking I might buy another pair. So final analysis is I recommend.

Very good workboot
Strong, rugged and comfortable waterproof work boot for all day use. Very useful for work in mud, small puddles and snow.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!
The title isn't misleading. When I say this, I don't just mean the most comfortable boots. I'm talking most comfortable shoes, period. To give a little background, I have extremely flat feet. My lateral arch is totally non-existent. I've seen foot doctors who have stated I'm the most extreme case of flatfootedness they've ever seen. Even with shoes with arch support in mind along with comfortable inserts, I can usually only stand 2-3 hours at most before it becomes painful. I'm also have particularly large feet, usually wearing anywhere from a US Men's 13.5 Wide to a Size 15 depending on the shoe. As a result, I've been through a LOT of shoes and a lot of arch inserts in my time, always looking for better and better comfort. Recently, I took a new job in security (yeah I know, not ideal for my condition, but you gotta take what you can get sometimes.) Typically this would be doable but not great in my normal shoes, however as part of the dress code we're required to have black boots. My company did provide some boots for free, but they were horrible. On a test run I got blisters on the bottom of my middle toe and the side of my big toe within only half an hour of walking. So I began looking for an alternative. In my research I found very few boots designed for flat feet, and the few that exist only come in brown where black was a requirement. Finally I landed on these. After reading some reviews, I have them a try. The relief I felt when I wore them was instantaneous. I don't know what magic they're pulling, but the inserts in these boots are amazing. Again, I've gone through all kinds of inserts in my time trying to find the best ones. Even the best, most expensive ones I have tried don't compare. My feet aren't shifting around inside at all and there's a nice ankle support as the boots come up decently high without also being overly stiff and uncomfortable. They're slightly heavy, but not overly so and again I'm size 13.5 so your experience might differ if you have a smaller foot. I'm sometimes wearing and walking for 12 hours almost non-stop (so 3-4 times my usual stopping point!) I did have one negative experience, which was that there was an uncomfortable underneath my big toe in the right boot. I'm not sure what it was, maybe a rogue stitch or something, but it was enough that I could feel it even under two inserts when I tested. But a simple email to their customer service department resulted in them sending me a replacement pair of boots, free of charge, and these replacements are absolutely perfect. Amazing shoes, amazing customer service, amazing company all around as far as I can tell. If you have flat feet you deserve it to yourself to get these boots.

Comfortable, but only lasted about eight months
I wanted to wait a few months before making a review. i’ve been wearing these work boots for the past nine months and use them heavily. They have been very comfortable, but the downside is they are not fully waterproof and water does make it into the boot which eventually makes them smelly. Second issue is they began to crack and fall apart, mostly around the kneeling area where the boot bends. However, I would buy these boots again due to how comfortable they are.

Excellent work boot
Great boots!! Fit is perfect, they are very sturdy and waterproof. They are the perfect weight for great mobility. They do not breathe well at all and stink up pretty quickly lol. But outside that, they are an excellent boot. One of the best pairs I have ever owned.

Comfortable boots but causing sores all over feet and ankles!
Keep an eye on your foot health wearing these boots. I bought them for my husband because he has worn his last work boots into the ground, it was time for a new pair. He has had RockRooster boots before so we figured these were a safe bet, but we have found that is not the case. When he wears these boots, he gets sores like some type of contact dermititis or breakout all over his ankles and feet by the end of the day. I have found a materials list and he is not allergic to any materials (he has no allergies to begin with), and the boots are fitted very well to his feet so we know it's not an issue with blisters due to rubbing etc. When he stops wearing these boots and wears his old boots or shoes instead, the sores go away within a week or so, and as soon as he puts them back on his feet get bad again immediately. Unfortunately we have been unable to return them because it's past the return window, but I have tried to contact the seller to determine appropriate action here. It took us this long to figure out with certainty that the boots were causing the issues, about 2 months or so. Not good! He wears Carhartts, Ariats, Wolverines, and numerous other brands without issue as well. We go through a lot of work boots and never had issues, nor did his old pair of RockRooster boots give him issues as mentioned beforehand. Aside from this issue, the boots were comfortable and he was happy to have them until we realized they caused these sores. Not particularly lightweight at all but very comparable to other brands. Could use better laces as these laces were unraveled within one week of wearing them. Hope to hear from the seller!
