In order to empty the bin, I would have to unattach the Velcro so the door would open and empty out. It was by chance that I found that the door was replaceable so I immediately ordered it. What a difference. I was able to get rid of the ugly Velcro strip and now have a functioning door again. I put it on immediately and easily and the new door offers a good seal so there is no loss of suction (photo 2&3). One thing I will say is that, when I need to open the door in order to empty out the dust, right now it takes a couple of sharp tugs for it to open. You have to push a little harder for it to lock in place but that IMO means the seal is better. Makes the use a little inconvenient but I like the trade. The installation is simple as expected.
