A great grill!!!
Having spent a lifetime of replacing huge grills every 2-4 years that I have spent $300-400 a piece on, is a lot of wasted money. Three years ago almost to the day, I bought a Heritage stainless steel grill from my local BJs. I love that grill and it has seen some abuse. We own a travel trailer and any time we go on a trip that grill gets strapped to the top of my tonneau cover and bounces around for thousands of miles. We live on the east coast. Last summer it was Arizona and New Mexico and the Summer before it was the Canadian Rockies. I used that grill at home up to three times a week. It is plenty big and will cook for maybe 4 people. The grill had its first problem a year ago or so. I left it on during the night and ice built up on the gas line. Then a thirsty squirrel came along and chewed right through the hose. I replaced that hose with one I bought at Amazon with a variable regulator. That proved challenging to properly adjust at each start, but I got used to it and loved the ability to incinerate my meats on the outside. Anyway, now three years into that grill and the grid is rusted and falling apart, the heat shields have large holes in them but the burners are still working. It isn't worth the trouble to fix after three years of heavy use. It still works fine, but it's time to buy another, so I ordered this Pit Boss for about 25 bucks more than I paid for the BJ's grill three years earlier. BJ's is no longer selling the Heritage.Imagine my delight when I unpacked the Pit Boss and discovered it was exactly the same grill as the Heritage I had used and loved for three years. Every hole matches up. Same brand regulator too. I saved the old one for who knows what reason. I think I got the BJ's grill on sale for 90 bucks, so paying $115 hurts a little, but it is worth every cent. This is one of the best grills you can buy for roughly 100 bucks. The quality is excellent all around and if you buy it to only occasionally use, it could last a really long time. Highly recommended!

Best grill ever!
Absolutely love my Pit grill! I have tried multiple grill and the ease and usefulness of this grill has been my best experience so far. Easy to clean and store. I furthered my purchase of getting a grill cover as well. Fits perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Great product at a great price
Great little grill!!!!!!!!! Replaced our standard large 4 burner grill with this grill. So far it’s been superior in cooking a meal quickly. It heats up really fast and cooks evenly and large enough cooking area. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend not to mention great price.

Great portable grill but a real bear to clean
I have only ever used a charcoal grill- at home and on the road. But a lot of campgrounds now (particularly in the west because of very dry conditions) will not let you use charcoal and sometimes I just don’t feel like trying to control the temperature with a charcoal grill so I decided to get the Pit Boss. Very easy to set up , bought an adapter to convert to a small propane tank and fired it up! Cooks beautifully, temperature is easy to control and I would absolutely love it if the whole interior were not stainless steel. It is an absolute pain to get it clean. Honestly, if I’d known how much work cleaning it was going to involve, I’d have bought something with a black interior and black grates. But, that will have to be the next one. For now, I have covered the interior in foil, making sure to keep grease tray open and that is doing the trick- just an annoying step but worth it.

Good Control, Quality Materials
Good control of burners. Has a good trap for grease so it’s easier cleanup. Plenty of space for camping cooking. Tried it out at home just for the “maiden” voyage and was happy with the way it cooked. Seems like construction materials are designed to last for some time without burning through or rusting out. Doesn’t take up too much space in my RV hold. Like it. Glad I ordered it.

Best build grill I ever owned
I bought a smoker from PitBoss first. It was a display model and there is parts missing and the company sent them overnight to me. No questions asked. After that kind of response from a company instead of buying the Sam’s stainless steel grill I bought this one from PitBoss. Best belt to Grill that I’ve ever owned. The heavy stainless steel grates and double wall lid keeps in the heat. And the heavy duty stainless steel diffusers above the burners look like they’ll last forever. Everything about the grill shows nothing but quality heavy gauge stainless steel. A grill and a company you can’t go wrong with.

Fantastic grill and first class customer service.
Our grill is two years old and has been great. The other day a valve was wonky, just not working right. I called to order a new valve expecting to pay. They asked when I purchased it, I told them May of 23 and even though I hadn’t registered it, they verified purchase and sent the needed parts and more. Apparently they have a five year warranty and unlike so many companies, they take it seriously. This grill is great, if I need another, this is where I’m buying it.

Great Portable Grill
This two burner pit Boss portable grill is a great stainless steel addition to our RV camping. It's not the easiest thing to clean but then again it's made of stainless steel and it's very well made, for the price. I don't really like to clean grills but I don't like to cook on dirty ones either. I use a cast iron grill to cook our food, and I also put aluminum foil on the bottom of the unit. Otherwise, to clean it takes a bit to clean it. Watch out for Sharp pieces inside the unit while you're cleaning it.I added a quick disconnect hose to the Pit Boss grill, easy to connect to our RV propane system and start cooking. If you put aluminum foil on the burner deflector plates, you'll need to change them each time you cook, cuz the burner gets pretty hot and flames the aluminum foil, burning your your food instead of cooking it, if you're not using a flat top grill. The collapsible legs are pretty good if you're on a level surface, and don't plan on moving it much. But the legs do not lock into place.Overall we're real happy with our Pit Boss portable grill and plan on many Happy meals.
