Nine West Women's Mikaela Wedge Pump

Surprised to see so many low ratings for this shoe! I was looking for a dressy summer shoe that would be professional yet comfortable enough for the office without looking too fuddy-duddy (I'm in my 20s). I purchased the black sandal in size 6 and was thrilled with the fit. The heel cup is stable and stays put - no slippage or annoying "flip-flop" sound. No blisters or sore spots from day one (no break-in period?! awesome!) and they look great with slacks, skirts, and skinny jeans. I even got a compliment from the elevator repairman this morning - lol. Only wish it was available in more colors.The ball of my foot is fairly wide, so I generally go up to size 6.5 in heels, but I had no trouble with the toe/ball area in this foot as others had mentioned. The design does make the foot look a bit elongated, so if that's a concern for you, try a design with a different shape.

I have a pair of NW flats in 7.5 and they fit me me. So I figured I would try 7.5 in these sandals too. They were too big and I ordered 7. Size 7 fit nice, but they still looked too long so I ordered 6.5. 6.5 were just a bit shorter but more narrow and so more uncomfortable.I don't like wearing shoes with my toes hanging out and instead prefer just a bit of space above my toes. But the size 7 has a bit more than I would like so now I'm debating if they're worth keeping or not.Aside from that they are pretty and they might seem a bit rigid but I think considering the way the shoe is designed it would have to be so it doesn't slip off. But I also think with a little bit of wear they would become more comfortable.

These shoes fit somewhat large but I know that if I bought the 9, they would have been too small. Thus, I am not sure what has happened to Nine West sizing. I know they sometimes in certain styles tend to be a tiny bit big but that was nothing a heel grip couldn't fix. In these shoes I have an insole and a heel grip and they still seem to come off my foot when walking. The style of the shoe is really cool because one side is completely open. The wedge is not to high. Nice shoe just weird sizing;maybe my feet changed??? lol!

I've been looking for yellow shoes for a long time. Not pale yellow, but a bright yellow, and these are bright. I also wanted a low wedge heel. These shoes met my criteria in every way and more. The style is very attractive and comfortable to wear. I put them on as soon as they arrived, and got two compliments about them. I'm very satisfied with my purchase

I just received these shoes, so I can't attest to how they would feel being worn all day---but the initial impression putting them on is that they are very comfortable. Based on others' reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size down and they are perfect. They will be perfect with summer shifts or ankle pants (I ordered white so it'll be a couple of months until I wear them). Pretty shoe! Very classy--

I have very narrow feet so i didnt think i would have issues with this shoe based on the other reviews. I was wrong they are extremly tight and gave me blisters wearing them just once. I like the style of the shoe that was great but that was about it. Hoping i can still break them in a stretch them out a bit more if not i wont be able to use them and it was a waste.

I was so hoping these would be great, but as soon as I put them on I knew I would not be able to wear them. I tried, but lasted about 5 minutes. Not only do they pinch around the toes but the design of the shoe looks awkward on the foot. I will be sending mine back.

I wear a medium size shoe comfortably so this cut surprised me.It's very sexy and well made. Usually, love 9-West stuff but this baby cuts right across the bone and pinches.Not the summer walking shoe I had imagined.Vv
