Colours true to my screen, and as always with Blue Sky, last a good couple of weeks. Great product.

I love having my nails done at the salon, especially with gel polish as it last so much longer than normal polish. The only thing I didn't love was the price. I found that Amazon had a number of UV nail lamps available, and thought I'd give it a go myself. After buying the lamp itself I also needed the polish to go with it, and that's why I bought the Bluesky UV Gel Polish in Asphalt, as well as the matching base and top coats. The main reason for choosing Bluesky was the price, as it was less than half the cost of some of the better known brands.The polish is a great colour, very versatile and goes with just about anything. It is a very dark gray, with just a hint of sparkle to stop it looking flat. The finish is very shiny, as with most gel polishes. I found it didn't last quite as long as the salon polishes, but that didn't bother me as much as I usually get bored with a colour after a full week. It still lasted long enough for me to be happy with the quality.It was really easy to use, though time consuming when you haven't had much practise. Base coat, then cure with the UV lamp. First coat of colour, then cure again. Second coat of colour and cure once more, before applying top coat, curing one final time, and finishing with a wipe over with acetone to remove the sticky residue.A few points to bear in mind:The polish has a slight smell to it when wet that the professional ones don't. It disappears once cured, but it might put some people off.Thin coats work a lot better than thicker ones. You can always apply two or even three coats to get even colour coverage, but thicker coats just look messy.ALWAYS wipe with acetone after applying top coat! Many people don't realise this and so wonder why the polish appears wet!The base coat and top coat are not optional, they are necessary for the polish to work.Overall, I am very happy with this polish and have already recommended Bluesky polishes to my friends. I now own 12 different colours, all made by Bluesky.

Choose these colours for holiday. Really pleased. Took 3 coats for the pure colour. Normal standard Blue Sky quality. Good value pack. Only just applied, but I normally get 2-3 weeks wear out of their gels.

Bought this for a wedding where I wore a Barbie pink and green outfit. Perfect. You do need the lamp though, although I had one already. Colour is perfect.

First time I've ever used gel polish, any polish for that matter so please excuse the less than perfect paint job. This went on like a dream. Pretty colour and is seemingly unchippable given the punishment it's had over the last 72 hours. I know it's early days but so far it's survived hand washing clothes (broken washing machine), cleaning out a garage, car maintenance and many household duties. Very pleased and will try more colours. Hope to feed back once it's been on longer.***today the nail polish had to come off. Seven days of wear and some pretty intensive manual labour later. I think the polish would have carried on going much longer had I not made the newbie mistake of not capping the end of the nails off. I'm learning as I go. Still I think after seven days given the punishment my nails have endured, the accident I had trapping a nail and bending it back, the fact I've had my hands in all kinds of substances that coloured the skin and not the nails, it's still great!

I think these gels are quite overpriced, you need quite a lot of layers to get a nice colour. Nice colours though

Esta marca me encanta ya que es muy resistente! No lo probé aún pero el color es incluso más fosforescente de lo que se aprecia en la foto!Perfecto para el verano!
