Everything is well made and all are utilitarian. The Dutch dough mixer helps enormously, the lame (for scoring the bread before baking) is easy to use and I like the extra razor blades. I use the Teflon transfer sling for moving the proofed dough to my Dutch oven and for baking the bread, preventing burning on the bottom and easy removal after baking. The Banneton keeps the proofing dough shaped and safe during the rest in the refrigerator overnight. Separately the items would add up to significantly more than the set. Get this if you want a head-start on you baking career. Half a Star off for no starter culture. I bought mine on desertcart.
