No cushioning but warm for winter
I got these boots for a trip to Alberta to visit family over Christmas, and to wear in the rain at home in BC. The boots look nice and are well made. My only issue is that they have very little cushioning in the sole so they're not the most comfortable for hiking or long walks. They work great in the snow to keep my feet warm, and the shape sort of rolls your foot forward as you walk, similar to walking in snowboard boots, which is quite comfortable. They're waterproof and have good grip. A bit difficult to wear while sitting in a vehicle because they have no give around the ankles so I find myself balancing on the heels of my feet to avoid uncomfortable flat footed sitting. All in all they are fine quality but I would look for an insole if you don't like hard soled boots.

Ok budget boot
These came up a little small on me. The sole is thin and flexible which is good for everyday use but off good paths you'll feel the bumps. The boot also bends up quite a lot in the toe.

Great value boot
For the money, these boots are great. Been away for a weeks hiking in the Lake District, and they were absolutely fine. The soles are quite flexible, which aids grip, but you also feel more, which while not uncomfortable, was surprising. But as I say, for the money, very happy!

MW adventurer boots
Went to Wales on a geology field trip. Gave excellent grip on wet rocks covered in slippery algae. Very comfortable. Well worth the money.

Good boots but be careful with the sizes.
The boots seem well made and to date are living up to the waterproof claim. Two minor issues are that I ordered a 9.5 UK size which is my usual foot size. However these were too big for me meaning that I have to use a normal and a large pair of socks to make them comfortable. The other irritation is the length of the laces - far too long for me.
