The work put into making this doll lifelike is amazing. It looks exactly like the pictures. Very lifelike. So, when my 10 year old is pushing the doll on a swing at park with strangers children all around and the head pops off... Toddlers absolutely think this is a real child and the head falls off.Not a month owning it and we have become semi pro at fighting this dolls head back on after several times of it falling off. You'd think it would pop back in with ease based on how simple it seems to fall out, you would be wrong in that assumption. It is a swear inducing beast of a chore the first two or three times. After that, you give up on hope and just mindlessly fight the neck back into the circular socket.We were going to use a tent repair needle to secure the latex head to the body neck ring, but then the dolls head would be locked in place. Other ideas have been pitched, but the fix would include reengineering and at my house they don't pay me enough for that.If you are buying this not to carry around, but to have someone sit and judge you with unblinking eyes then five stars. The hair on the doll I received is simply appalling! When I took the doll out of the wrapper, the hair -- a very ugly shade of brown nowhere resembling what's pictured, it was smashed completely flat to the skull of the doll. It was swirled every which way and was so thin I could see every individual plug and the scalp. It had rubber bands in it and two tiny bows -- just stuck on the sides. I've tried to reshape the hair as best I could, but its hopeless. Its not curly or wavy -- it just hangs in clumps. I am SO disappointed in what was to be a birthday gift for my granddaughter. Its nothing like what is pictured! The hair completely ruins the appearance of the doll!

This is the most amazing doll I've ever seen!! I am so pleased with this purchase, incredible detail and quality. I can't wait to give it to my granddaughter for her birthday.

This doll is adorable I have bought several of these dolls trying to figure out which on to keep when they first arrive it is a bit of a disapointment the doll does not look like the picture. The first picture is the doll by the artist the last picture or the doll in the review is the mass produced doll . It looks different and you have to play with the hair if you wet the hair you can fix it to look like the doll that is mass produced. These are still beautifull dolls they are not silicone they sre vinyl with fabric bodies. There are many different manufactureres that make the same doll and some might be better then others but the doll in the first picture is by the original artist and that is not the doll that you get which is very decieving especially if they do not post the picture of the vinyl doll that you are receiving

What a cutie. Chunky all around baby so sweet looking. Did remove some of the stuffing for in my opinion she was overstuffed. Now she moves more freely. She is sitting next to her new sister. Pretty features.
